I help moderate a Discord community which caters to fairly similar interests as this site has done for so long. Recently an issue of legality was brought up to the staff, since the server was public and alllowed anyone who joined to see the channels full of inflation art, weight gain art, etc. Now, the important thing to note is that if you wanted to see fetish art that contained explicit content such as nudity or "excretions" of any kind, you had to confirm you were over 18 to access those channels. But what has been brought into question is the legality of knowingly allowing minors to see ANY kind of inflation art, SFW or otherwise.

I figure, this site has been around for a long-ass time and has no real age gate. You must have encountered something in the site's time alive, how was it dealt with, and what is this community's policy on minors?

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that when you created your profile, there was term agreement. That releases people like Luther from liability at point from being sued for underage people visiting this site. Pretty standard stuff.

When you create an account on this site, there are two required boxes to heck: one to accept the Terms and Conditions of Use, another to confirm that you're over 18 years of age. Sexually explicit content is only visible to registered users.

Yes, people can and have lied on the form. But anyone determined to be underage is banned with exptreme prejudice.

As for the legality of exposing minors to any inflation art, I'd be really curious which statute that violates.

The whole 'no kids allowed' thing when it comes to fetish work in general makes a perfect amount of sense to me. Personally, I think it's what allows us to fly under the rader when it comes to all them cancerous cringe compilations out there, A lack of young idiots drawing attention to the site.

I've no doubt there's plenty of people here who have lied about their age. Hell I was 15 when I first started looking up fetish stuff online and no age gate was going to get in my way. Luther is pretty swift with the banhammer if someone on here does let on that they're underage.

I'm wary of underage people contacting me like you wouldn't believe. If I start to suspect something, I might say "I don't think I should be interacting with you until you're older"; how it makes me shake my head when I get "nope i'm actually 20 srry for confusing you hehe" in response.

I also happen to own a Discord server centered around male expansion in its many forms, and the topic of underage has been coming up regularly in conversations and ways to deal with them... Throughout the server's currently 8 months of existence, and even if the rules stated "only 18+", I had to ban about four people for lying about their age and it's only recently the server enforced its rules on age and such in order to struggle more against that problem...

Basically it had an introduction system since it's early beginnings (to avoid creeps primarily) but it's only until now I had to ask people to input their age in it as well, woe is me.

Still, people will lie. Makes it easier on the internet to lie since it's harder to figure out through text that a person is underage (but not impossible, some patterns can make a person VERY suspicious and easier to figure they're an "underage scoundrel", as I dub 'em), but yeah. Rules are rules. We've all gotta be consenting adults, for fuck's sake.

I managed to see much less well regulated things like chatzy rooms apparently hosting people as young as 12, you can be sure I ollie outie'd of there as soon as I found that out, holy shit why. WHY.
