So does anybody actually know why BI.org kinda fuckin' died for a bit?

First, it's lovely to have my second favorite hellsite back in action. I've missed you weirdos almost as much as I miss PPG reruns.

Second, why the fuck did BI.org go down for so long? Were we attacked by some basement dwelling neckbeards who marched their way on over from 4chan? Did one of the big important progams keeping the site afloat suddenly decide to stop working? Did one of the site admins forget to feed the meat clowns that hide in the Roleplaying forums??

I NEED TO KNOW.

This website is built using a website creation and management tool called Drupal. Sometime around the beginning of the year, a massive security hole was found in Drupal, and Kane took the site down out of caution. As Kane self-hosts the site in his spare time, and does so without assistance, patching Drupal was one of those “I’ll get to it when I have time” things. Apparently, Kane is very busy in the non-fetish world, and Drupal is a headache and a half to fix when it’s broken.
