or "The Culinary Romantic’s Quest for the Lady Sword Slinger’s Affection"

Dear Diary,

It appears that the heavens are showering me with fortune. My beloved Akira has finally accepted my invitation to eat dinner at my home tomorrow, although she was a bit reluctant when she agreed. After so much patience and persistence, I have a chance to be with her and prove how much I love her, but I must not squander the opportunity. I’ll have to make sure she never leaves my house for any reason whatsoever. For if she does, I may end up losing the one chance I have and it may mean spending the rest of my life without her by my side. I must make sure she stays here by any means necessary. Perhaps, I’ll do so by cooking her a meal she’ll never forget.

Akira wiped her delicate face on her respective napkin after having finished off the last of the ramen dish provided for her. She glanced across the table and towards the door of the kitchen where she heard much bubbling and sizzling taking place as Motto prepared the next portion of her dinner. Akira merely sat silently as she waited for the next course of the meal.

Akira was a young woman who hailed from a family of talented swordsmen. She was the only female in her family who learned to be skilled in welding a blade. She set up her own dojo separate from her family’s where she taught swordsmanship to both boys and girls. Many people in the village considered her to be strong and determined soul, especially many of the inspired, younger girls who looked to her as a role model and attended her dojo to learn.

Her hair was silky and black as a moonless night, flowing down to her waist and her stern eyes were a radiant shade of green. She had a dignified, self-disciplined attitude and if she ever wanted to be taken seriously as a female swordsman, she felt it was best in her nature to never laugh, or even smile at times when it wasn’t necessary, but to instead always remain focused on her goals at hand. For the visit to Motto’s house, she wore a specially woven, green leaf kimono; something one would wear for special occasions. It was beautiful but it was also uncomfortable and she disliked wearing it whenever she had to as the garb had a tendency to take away her prideful warrior traits. Despite her strict personality, many men in the village, including Motto of the Mioata family, considered her beautiful but she didn’t really care how they felt about her. Early in her life, she concluded to herself that being with a man would only interfere with her training and make her weak.

For over a year, Motto had been stalking her in efforts to obtain her love and he would constantly pester her with offers for him to cook dinner for her and the end result would always be that she would turn him down. For the sake of her sanity and her training, she at long last surrendered and agreed.

“After all”, she thought, “it was only for one night”. She would come to his house and eat what he cooked for her, then she would thank him for his efforts, and end this nonsense once and for all. In preparations for the dinner, she ended sword lessons early and left the dojo before sundown so that she could get ready. When she came home, she took a bath, tied her hair into a single trim ponytail and unearthed the Green Leaf Kimono buried deep inside her closet before heading over to Motto’s house, expecting the worst

.

But surprisingly to Akira, the night had gone better than she had assumed. The food up to this point had been scrumptious. First, she was treated to a well-cooked, seasoned pot roast, and then she received a serving of steamed vegetables, followed by a huge bowl of ramen noodles. The food was so good; she was even obliged to ask for a second helping of ramen. She had never had eaten so much in one night, despite her small appetite. He might’ve been obnoxious but Akira had to hand it to Motto. He sure knew how to cook.

Motto came into the room carrying a tall, metal pot in his hands before setting it in the center of the table. He lifted the lid off of the container and took out a large wooden spoon as he prepared to serve whatever what was inside. Getting ready for his next dish, Akira took hold of her plate and presented it to Motto who then scooped what looked like white rice onto her plate. Surprisingly without her word, he went back into the pot and provided her with another helping of the food.

“This rice looks delicious”, Akira said humbly.

“It’s made from an old family recipe”, Motto claimed topping off her plate. “I think you’ll grow to really like it”.

Motto received thanks from the grateful Akira before he took the pot and headed towards the kitchen.

“Please enjoy yourself. I’m going to prepare dessert”.

As he left the room, Akira took the chopsticks from her array of utensils and began to eat the rice on her plate. It was indeed delicious, a lot tastier than the other kinds of rice she ate. Within a moment of consideration, she even thought that perhaps, it even the best thing she had ever tasted. She allowed herself no break in between her sudden, frantic chewing as she continued to shovel great deals of rice into her desperate mouth. She was so surprised when she took a second to see how fast she was gobbling it down. It was so good though. But suddenly in the middle of her eating, from out of nowhere, she felt a small rumble in her belly. Before she could respond to the sensation, she ended up letting out a loud belch that echoed through the room. She immediately stopped eating and covered her mouth in shock feeling as though she had lost all decency. That was very unlike her. She couldn’t remember the last time she did something like that. She glanced over to the kitchen door in wondering if Motto had heard that burp of hers but there was no response from him.

She regained focus on herself and realized she began to feel very full. Although she still had a significant amount of rice on her dish, she didn’t think she could eat another bite. All that rice she had quickly consumed was acting up within her, stirring up some kind of pressure in her belly. She had never felt this way before. She put down her chopsticks and got out of her chair as she prepared to leave Motto’s house and head home. It would be rude to Motto for her to head out before desert without even the slightest saying so but she was feeling much too full for manners. She had taken a few steps from the table when suddenly the pressure began to grow and furiously course through her entire body, streaming into her arms and legs causing her to pause in place and coo. Bewildered with her own situation, Akira looked downward and gasped at what she saw.

Her hips had jolted out and she looked almost twice as wide as she did a few minutes ago. She was no longer petite and the shifting threads on her kimono began to feel the effect. She put her hands on her swelling thighs and provided them with a slight inner push. …This certainly wasn’t fat but instead it felt thicker like air. It actually felt like she was inflating as though she were a balloon. Could something like that even happen to her?

“Motto, come quick!”, she screamed, “something’s happening to me!”.

She expected Motto to stop what he was doing and rush into the room but there was no response. Did he not hear her pleas? Her waiting for his return was interrupted when she put her hands in her lap and found that her belly had expanded. It stuck out in front of her looking as though she were a carrying a baby but even so, like her thighs, it had not stopped growing and apparently nor did the rest of her. She started to feel her backside mounting and rounding out. Her bottom had become at least twice as ample and it was uneasily pressing into her underwear. The shoulders of her kimono became uncomfortably snug as it was burdened to hold her upper body and breasts, which had inflated even more. It was then she realized she no longer resembled the once small, trim, young woman she was before.

She began to lose control in her arms as they began to pull back and branch away from the rest of her as they too began to fill. She tried to bring her arms back to her but she no longer had the strength to move them about. They had become broad, swollen limbs pumped full with air, forced to stick out horizontally to her chest, which had grown itself. It puffed out forward all the while sporting a pair of breasts ballooned to a point where they were almost as big as her head. Her legs were doing the same thing for after her legs grew taut and firm with the air that flowed through them, they started to expand and pull apart. It made it impossible to waddle about, let alone walk, which she learned when she tried to get to the kitchen door for Motto’s help. It was a failed attempt when she realized her leg refused to lift on her command. All she could do was simply struggle and wobble about to keep her vast, distending body standing upright but in the end, she couldn’t do even that as seconds later, she tumbled forward only to land on top of her large, cushion-like belly with an uneasy plop.

After a moment of frantic shaking, she quickly recovered however and tried to force herself to get up and stand but just as before, it was pointless. She was simply too swollen to even get herself off of the floor, which deep down, she had assumed. Having realized she was unable to stop any of this, all she could do now was lean her head over her enlarged breasts so that she could haplessly watch herself grow more and more. It felt as though she were reaching her limitations for although it looked as if she wasn’t getting any larger, she was certainly becoming rounder. Her waist and belly had become one and was slowly merging with her massive chest, as the crease that divided them slowly began to thin out. All the while her giant breasts awkwardly stuck outward rivaling her neck and pressing against the green fabric of her kimono.

Fortunately, the clothing had held together well but the way it tightly stretched over the top half of her gigantic body like a dome, it could barely hide her waist, let alone her underwear, which had been tortured in the task of housing her swollen bottom. As full as she was getting, it wasn’t until a moment after she went rising upward when she noticed the floor shrinking under her and realized in surprise…

I’m floating! , She gasped just before bumping her back against the ceiling and bouncing back downward where she began to lazily drift about the room as if she were a miniature parade balloon with no strings attached. The weightless experience in itself was enough to take her mind off of her own inflation but only for a short time at which she felt the belt of her kimono squeezing into her as she grew rounder and fatter.

Suddenly, Motto came into the room. He glanced up and looked at a blimpish Akira hovering through the room.

“So how was the rice?”, he asked with a smile.

Taking note of his gleefully sparkling face, she immediately realized this had to be his plan all along.

“Motto, what have you done to me”, Akira shouted over her bothersome breasts as her head tipped backwards. Her mature, calm nature was gone after having been blown up to silly proportions. No longer did she feel the need to use her indoor voice and collected behavior, nor had she taken the time to notice that she had stopped inflating altogether.

“I look absolutely ridiculous”, she said.

“Nonsense, you look beautiful”, complimented Motto “The rice you ate is my family’s magical food, the Flying Rice Recipe. It is very delicious but it causes whoever eats it to swell up and float weightlessly, like a balloon would. It’s a nasty side effect for some to say the least but I thought you could stand to look a little bit plump. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with plump. After all, I can’t let you leave now that you’re here. This is my chance to finally win your heart.”

“You idiot!”, she screamed having abandoned her need of a serious attitude, “I don’t love you! I only came here to eat dinner! That’s what we agreed on. Now change me back. Change me back now. I don’t want to be a balloon! I don’t want to be plump!”

“It’s out of my control”, he said. “You’ll have to wait a few days for the swelling to go down before you can leave… that is unless I feed you some more of my delicious rice.”

Another smile came to his face.

What if I were to feed you my Flying Rice every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Why, you would be enormous and so beautiful to boot.”

Akira moaned at the thought, picturing herself as a colossal, 50-foot ball overlapping her home village, put at the very mercy of Motto as he continued to stuff her full of magic rice.

While she imagined, Motto walked up to the woman and provided her stomach with a sufficient poke with his fingers. The deep impression in her body caused her to wince before forcing out another loud belch that rumbled through the house. She recovered quickly enough to respond.

“When everybody finds out what you’ve done to me, you’ll be in so much trouble.”

“Perhaps, but then I’ll just have to make haste to earn your love before that happens. We could make a great couple you know. You could be the fierce lady swordsman and I could be the loving husband who cooks for you. Doesn’t that sound nice? Why don’t you think it over while I go back?” He turned around and headed back into the kitchen.

“Where are you going?”, she asked.

“Don’t you remember, darling? I have to get the dessert” he answered. “I can’t leave my future wife to be hungry. I’ve decided to try something different tonight and put a new spin on an old recipe. How does Flying Bread Cookies sound? I whipped up four-dozen just for you”.

Upon hearing this, Akira whimpered softly to herself. She knew that it was going to be long night.

Dear Diary

Unfortunately, my beloved Akira drifted off into a deep sleep before she could finish the last of the Flying Bread Cookies I made for her. What a waste of good food. When I finished feeding her, She had become so big; I couldn’t even find the words to describe it. I decided to take her into the guest room (don’t even ask me how I got her through the doorway) and have her sleep there for the rest of the night. My fat, little dumpling looked so peaceful as she lightly twirled and floated about the room in her slumber. Watching her in that state made me so happy because usually she can be so uptight sometimes. Perhaps if I make her more easygoing, she might actually consider loving me back. Whatever it takes, we shall be together.

The rest of the night was fairly quiet aside from an occasional belch coming from the guest room of the house.
