READ BEFORE POSTING or your post will probably be deleted

This forum is for feedback. Often the best way to get people to tell you what they think is to ask them directly. If you're creating a new post in this forum, you must abide by the following rules. These rules do not apply to replies, although your comments should remain on-topic. Like many things on this site, this forum is an experiment; if it works, I'll keep it around.

REQUIRED:

1) Title your post using the name of the story/picture/whatever for which you're seeking critique.

2) A link to your work. It doesn't have to be at this site, but must be publicly available.

3) Your name, whichever one you prefer to use when your art is credited.

4) A brief description. It can be very brief.

Optional, but suggested:

1) The type of feedback you're looking for. Are you an artist seeking feedback on your shading technique, or an author who needs help with grammar? If you were going for a certain effect, explain it here and hopefully find out if you nailed it. If you're sensitive to criticism, you should mention your mapin threshhold as well.

2) Tell us a but about the piece. Talk about what inspired it, what effect you were going for, any revelations or setbacks that occurred during its production. I'm personally quite curious about how the creative process works for other people.

This forum is for the discussion of specific works only. I've posted a feedback request for one of my own stories as an example.
