The Duchess and the Sorceress

Gelatria: How can you be so huge already?! And FLOATING, too!
Shannon: It's all a matter of concentration, Your Crystalline Splendor.
Gelatria: But...I'm concentrating as much as I possibly can, and my belly has barely peeked out of my gown!
Shanon: You're still afraid, aren't you? Relax, you're not going to pop!
Gelatria: Really? How?!

So, when 2013 came to a close I decided it would be nice to get into some backstory and characterization for some of my characters. Hence, I decided to show Gelatria* learning how to get her inflation curse under control with the help of Shannon. I'm also planning on making a story based on this piece which will get deeper into the story and hopefully set up some worldbuilding as well. Until then, enjoy!

*By the way, Gelatria is one of the OCs I plan on having in that constructed world. She is the Grand Duchess of Snowloft who trained under Shannon to get her inflation curse under control.
