Author Whereabouts

I'm not usually one to do one of these "whatever happened to so-in-so?" threads, but curiosity has gotten the better of me. Does anyone know what happened to an author who went by "fulla-hotair" over on Deviantart? His page is still up, but it hasn't been updated since 2009. I liked some of his few stories, and a couple really felt like they were going somewhere. Since it's been nearly 8 years since his last post, I assume he moved on to other things and abandoned the account. However, I'd like to be certain he didn't just get a different account either on the site or elsewhere, just in case he chose to continue some of his stories. If the former be the case, I will happily drop the issue. Please let me know, either with a reply or private message, if you have any information. Thank you.
