Horse women: Paula, Whinney, etc.

A question.

How do people feel about my drawings of women in horse costumes, like Paula, Whinney, etc.?

Are they too "furry" for inclusion on bodyinflation.org? Does anyone love them and want to see more of their pneumatic escapades?

Reason I ask is that I've done many pics featuring them, but I don't want post them here if they aren't kosher.

Tinmible

To me, they're on the same level as the ever famous catgirls. More human with animal characteristics than a furry's animal with human characteristics. I don't care much for furries. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them or nothing, and hold no ill will to those that do.

Back on track: I think the drawings are well done. Feel free to upload whatever you like regardless of opinion. As long as it's inflatable, it works.

(For the record, I draw the line at underage stuff)

Ophidia

I think it would be a terrible waste of talent to not post them here. I really liked that sequence you did involving Carry Nation, mainly because I love beer and have been in similar situations (which I can barely remember). A sequence like that is pure inflationism and definately has a place here.

Maybe you could get a second gallery just for furry stuff if there are people who arent truely comfortable with furry inflation.

Fukureruba

Honestly, though, i myself would rather keep furry off of bodyinflation.org. There are plenty of other websites out there for that, but honestly (not to offend anyone) bodyinflation.org is about the only dependable, human only inflation content site left on the web.

Ophidia

Thats true, though I dont see a need for segregation based on furryness its still your art and your choice. As a fan of yours ill respect whatever decision you make.

Tinmible

You seem to have your mind set. Do what you think is right. And if for some reason, you run out of a places to upload the furry art, don't hesitate to upload it here.

SideShowBatt

I have no objection to it. I think it would be cool to see it here.

Do you have an opinion on this subject :?:

Oh...by the way. I'm happy as heck to be back, I had more pent up inflation angst than I thought I did! :D The new site is vunderbar. My sincerest compliments!

Hercmech

Love the pics, Paula, Whinney, and Heidi. I'd love to see more!

funkyobrian

I don't see why not BH. I'd pretty much equate the Horsey outfits with your inflatable bunny suit and the recent Dig Dug gals in terms of similar themes.

It's great to have you back, Big Horse.

As many of you have no doubt noticed, my policy on pictures is kind of haphazard and arbitrary, and explaining it tends to get long-winded. You have been warned :)

What affects whether a picture gets posted:

1) Is it on topic? The pics should feature a person blowing up.
2) Is it explicit? PG-13 is about the limit around here. No exposure of naughty bits
3) Is there a more appropriate forum? If a pic is borderline and there's a more appropriate site for it, I'll likely direct the submitter there.
4) Is the pic already available elsewhere? I'm more likely to take a pass on a pic if it's questionable and already available elsewhere
5) Does the artist have a gallery? I tend to be less strict about the other rules if an artist has a separate gallery here.

In general I don't post furry pics. But I'm pretty flexible, since there is a pretty wide spectrum furriness ranging from woman with cat ears, to pics involving muzzles and claws. The more human a pic is, the more likely it is to make it. If it could easily be a normal human in an animal suit, I'll probably let it slide. The more animalistic a pic is, the more likely I'll reject it, since there is another web site entirely devoted to ballooning furries.

There are already pics of Paula in BH's gallery, so if he wants to post more he's welcome to.

Personally I'm not fussed about women in horse suits, It's not something I'm particularly into but as long as the inflatee is female and human then it's fine with me.

as long as they r women blowing up with air lol i like the heidi comic despite she was more furry than human. and i thought paula was a furry, not a woman on a costume

They don't look furry to me, they look like women in animal costumes, which is a cool idea in itself, especially when you add inflation. :) Where would you post your furry art? I'd like to know, because I love your inflation art and don't want to miss anything that you post anywhere.

Fukureruba

Hi Wren...glad to see you're still around and kicking! Count me as one of the many who miss the Wren Spot.

I don't post my furry stuff anymore anywhere...I'm pretty disenchanted with the furry inflation community at this point.

Daggerguy

Well Maybe you should think about posting it somewhere, it's great artwork, when ya got it flaunt it buddy. Personally I can't draw a straight line :) But your furry art is great, and I think there shouldn't be exclusions, and on the PG-13 and not showing the naughty bits, you could always make a seperate section with the i agrre to be over 18 thinger magig, but once againt great art work, you're one of my favorite artists.

Schutz

Don't climb the tree if you can't run naked through the kitchen.

I pretty much concur with the general feeling expressed so far.

Personally I can put a foot into the furry area if the artist/picture does it well enough for the inflation to be the dominant factor. I do like much of your work at macro (as well as a few others), but much of it I don't. The characters you mention are fine and maybe about as far there as I'd like to go.

I would gingerly suggest that once there are hoofs, lizards/scales etc and more or less purely animal subjects then it generally might not work for the broader inflation community.

Perhaps since in your pics there are often mostly human characteristics anyway, it probably wouldn't take much to draw with the balance that pleases yourself the most, then derive from that a mostly or totally human version as well. Most of the time it would only involve very minor changes.

Also great to hear you're still keen on this. First I see Spectre posting and now Big Horse. Things are looking up!

OT, there was a naked version of "Mars Needs Inflated Women" getting around back at the time. Was this yours too, or did someone unknown modify the original? It's one of my all time favourites (either version, but the mild nudity, though not essential, works for me).

Heliumphreak

Your furry characters have a more human feel than the majority of those at the Furry Inflation Page. That is why I think they could pass at this site.

Even characters like Heidi Vixen (that whole comic is one of my personal favorites) stress the inflation first, emphasizing the human female anatomy.

I agree completely, srflour. Although at one time I did quite a bit of non-inflation furry art, as a general rule my primary driving force has always centered on the inflation angle. I think a lot of people may misunderstand that.

Macro?

That was my doing. Originally it had nude figures, but I added the swimsuits so it could be posted on BI.org. One of the few times I've done either nudes or multiple versions of the same drawing. Glad you like it! Honestly it didn't get the response I had hoped it would...kinda went over like a limp balloon. :D

Hercmech

There was a naked version?

srflour

Oops. Lost track of some discussions.

* Macro - The macrophile site where your furry art is posted.

* Yes, there's a naked version of the Mars pic (as already confirmed above). I was asked for it a few times at the Inflatality group some time back, so I emailed it to them.

Clearly there was interest in it though the naked one might have appealed to some folks more. Most likely it was seen by far fewer people than the clothed one.

I don't even remember where I first saw it (probably a Yahoo or MSN group) but I haven't seen it for a long time online.

BH - I'm really surprized it (the clothed one here) didn't get a big response. It's one of my all time faves to this day. It's kind of like a way to do various stages like in a progression but with different subjects and shapes all in the one scene. Even the ones in the middle distance that are a way off would make worthy portraits on their own if they were blown up (...sic) to foreground size.

Spielberg missed a big opportunity with a movie like "Taken". He could have made it about people being inflated beforehand :) .

Never mind - maybe a sequel to "Mars Attacks" would be more partial to this sort of silly weirdness.

BTW, the title appealed to me especially because of the similarity to the name of an album by a great band here (Australia) called The Hoodoo Gurus. It was entitled "Mars Needs Guitars".

I wish he would start posting on the FIP (Furry Inflation Page) again, especially the giftart that's posted on Morphy's site, i loved the one of Skipp, Umi, and the beachball

Shady

Your art's great Big Horse. I can't wait to see more. Furry or non-furry.

harrisonford08

I was a big fan of your full fledged furs on the furry inflation page but I like your hybrids too. There isn't much you draw that I don't like. I'm just glad you're active again.

I really like the idea of the Pony Girls. I'm also a fan of Pony Play myself as well as inflation so it really appealed to me. I wouldn't mind seeing some more ^^

I find nothing wrong with them. Hell, I could have asked the same question about my robochicks that I have (Raichell, Lynda, and Black Rose to name a few), but, they seemed so close to human that I don't think anyone would mind.

So many inflation drawings lack flow/life, they are just a girl standing around with a hose stuck somewhere and large whatevers.
