2. Hmm..well, I'd love to see other fighting game girls, like Chun Li (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chun_Li), Mai Shinarui (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mai_Shiranui) or Athena Asamiya(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athena_Asamiya)
But I can understand if you want to use MK characters.

3. I generally like the inflatee to be whiny and Panicked ( "No, I'm getting too big!" "I feel too fulL!" "I'm going to pop!" and the inflator to be cruel and taunting. ("Looking a little gassy.." "Getting too big for your britches..." )

4. If your doing a sequence, maybe a couple of different angles, full body, profile, and from behind- so we can see how there inflation effects the whole body. XD

I know these are from DA, but the guys did the clothing like in the games. With MIleena, Im not sur eif the hair, but that hair is awesome in that drawing.

Maybe Jade....MK doesnt have too many women as it is. Or a young Sindel. Didnt Sindel kill Kitana's mom or something?

I hate when the inflatee says things like "Im blowing up!" No kidding. Thats uninteresting. Of course, when theres nothing else, thats enough i guess, but the inflator says the more appealing things. All the inflatee has to do is do muffled moans lol Like Fukureru said, Kitana should tease her, making some reference to a parade or something lol Or her opponent covering sunlight lol

As for the shots, you should start with Kitana giving her the last blow before Finish Her! Maybe a jab to the stomach. Then, she sexily closes in, like in the sequence Vlad Drake did, and puckers up. As for the inflation, maybe she starts puffing up slowly, the first panel of inflation reminiscent to Big Horse's sequence.

Its hard to not mention other sequences of the Kiss, since they are great.

As for AB's questions...

1) I didn't know there were other versions of Kitana, just the blue suit is fine with me, but if anything else she might wear would affect how cruel she looks then go for it.

2) Call me old fashioned, but I like Mileena best of all, The purple suit is just built for inflation, just look at big horse's pic. She's kind of a perennial inflatee in the community so I'm not too fussed whether you decided to try someone new, or try Mileena in new clothing, or just go for the classic inflatality effect.

3) Now this is where I get really interested. I'd like to know, not just what they are saying to eachother, but what they are thinking. perhaps the inflatee is angry at first and thinks she can get out of this predicament and get her revenge, but as her skin becomes taut and she becomes all round, it dawns on her that she can't prevent herself from exploding... I'd love to see that moment of realisation, sliding from vengeance to preparing for the end.
As for Kitana, I'm happy for her to be the regular ol' common or garden sadist. She can taunt the inflatee as she grows but maybe she has thoughts of her own, maybe she's loving watching the helplessness and ridiculousness of her opponent, but is thinking maybe she doesn't want to watch the explosion. Theres a sequence Ylandra did which shows Kitana shield herself slightly just before Mileena goes bang.

4) hmmm... I think in this case, variety is the spice of life, like most people here, I would love to see the inflatee from other angles, something missing from most other Inflatality sequences, I'd like to see her in profile and from behind as she bloats up. You could also maybe throw in a few more dramatic angles as the end draws near, such as a low angle like a pic big horse did fairly recently with his pony girl, or a view from above, or close ups of individual body parts as they each start to inflate. for example, at the very end, even her hands become a little puffy.

P.S) Now I know this is gonna sound a bit 'out there' but how about two Kitanas, and as one goes to K.O.D the other, she turns her face so they kiss each other on the lips, and are both inflating or something.

Anyway, that was a bit long, so thanks for giving us the opportunity to influence your latest piece... I can't wait for it!

Carnatic, your ideas are awesome. I like the low angle in the Big Horse pic of his cow girl. Itd be great for one of the last panels of the K.O.D. And showing individual parts would be cool too. I also like Kitana shielding herself from the imminent explosion. In ylandra's pic, Kitana was smiling even then.

As for the last bit, in the game, I used to like to inflate the blue kitana using the impostor white Kitana, which is the one the second player used if both players used Kitana. Its like they made a clone of her, and Kitana finally gets a dose of her own medicine!

I like bighorse's pic body shape... not just that specifically, I like any 'parade balloon' body shape, including the ones you commonly draw. She still has a feminine figure.

To pick out some of my favourite figure's you've drawn; there is your pic based on that story about the bitchy girl called Jessica who blows up while on a date; and also ones you did, where these aliens have a ray that fattens girls up, and a pic called Bloat'n'Boom. To me they show inflated figures, though there is some realism in how you present it and to a fat admirer, they could show overweight figures. Personally my preference is for inflated but I see you want to keep that ambiguity so these seems like good examples.

First things first I have to agree with Darth_Clone, it's annoying when they say the obivious when blowing up. Plus to me atleast it just takes away from the whole experience. For the style of the shape, I personally prefer the complete sphere shape but the other way isn't too shabby either.

As for which Kitana and which victim. I say go with UMK3 Kitana blowing up UMK3 Sonya. Who I think will be sexier as a balloon as opposed to Mileena, who has that screwed up face under her mask. Which is hard to not think about when she's in some stimulating situation.

As of right now, it seems like we are leaning towards UMK3 Kitana (laced up) vs UMK3 Sonya (spandex).

Ah, the biggest disappointment of my life, they brought in Kitana in UMK3 but changed her kiss. sigh

Unless people have more to add, this seems like the way to go. I won't begin drawing for a week, so you all have plenty of time to add comments.

Having not played anything past MK2 and just from looking at pictures...

1. I would say that Kitana's Armageddon uniform - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/4c/KKKK.jpg - looks the best. Either that, or her MK2 uniform.

2. I would go with either Kira from MK:Deception - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/4f/Mkd_kira.jpg - or Sonya from MK3 as the victim.

3. I would prefer that the victim say nothing, similar to Big Horse's series. I will echo the sentiment that the victim saying anything obvious ("I'm blowing up like a balloon!") is a distraction. I also like the idea of teasing the inflatee.

4. I like mostly frontal or side-frontal shots, but perhaps when she starts getting really big there could be a rear shot. I would also like to see her become completely round. I understand that some people don't like that, but maybe you could give her the parade-float look and incorporate some of her figure before she goes spherical? Or perhaps almost-spherical?

Oh, and if there's a good way to inflate both of them, I think you should do that too. :)

The reason I dont like it is because sometimes Im waiting for something else, but in all fairness, what else can anyone come up with? I like her to say something, but everyone puts in "Im blowing up!". If it says "Im blowing up like a balloon", I sort of like it, because I have a thing for the word balloon especially when referred to a woman blowing up like one :) I do like it when the inflatee begs, maybe tries to make a deal with the inflator. Of course, theres nothing the inflator can do, unless she has a tank, but shes not going to turn it off, shes having too much fun :twisted:

ok i'm loving the ideas brought forward so far, i just got thinking off something myself, in the background there should be people chanting, i know thats more street fighter than MK, but what if the people chanting were inflationists? what if the inflationists were members of bi.org? it's just an idea, i mean if you would find that more difficult and more time consuming i'd understand.

stick with the UMK3 kitana vs UMK3 sonya

as far as things they should be saying, i enjoy the inflator teasing the victim ie. poking. now i know its been said already that it sounds stupid when the inflatee states the obvious, but i like that, lines like "i'm blowing up like a balloon" i've always enjoyed. but after the inflatee gets a certain size they should just start making muffled sounds. anyway what ever you decide to do i'm sure we're all in for a treat.

Itd be time consuming, but maybe members of BI.org could be made into MK fighters and chant in the background of the Arena level from MK2! haha Seems like a fun idea, I wouldnt want to do something thatd make this sequence take longer than god wills it.

thanks, now that I have the basic animation idea and concept down I'm going to see about refining it to look nicer and eventually colored. Animation is pretty arduous already, add coloring and it can be lengthy but satisfying.
