Have you seen the movie "Paprika"? There is some kind of inflation in it. Not really clear as the chocolate factory, but with some imagination you can see it twice! (first time with popping for the ones who like it)

The film does have inflation in it, only on an old professor (can't remember his name, either Tsumura or Kakimoto, he had a thick glasses).
Paprika enters the professor's body (this was in a dream btw) and his body began to balloon out huge and round (almost the size of a city block) and then explodes while laughing I think (that's the only inflation part in the movie if anyone asks).
The movie is really amazing, the animation and music is really good. To me the story is good, not great but good. It's a really good mystery/fantasy movie, the ending is just mind blowing.

The second inflation part is in the end. I don't want to tell spoilers, but she get a bit round before se grows. Not very special, but I saw it a little as inflation :P
I love this movie. I think it's one of my favorites now (no, not for the inflation part. I don't like popping)

I have this movie on Blu-ray and still haven't watched it due to time constraints. I guess I'll have to make time now just to check out the ZOMGpotentialinflationscene! -joke-
But it's worth a look I guess.
I really love the work of Satoshi Kon, it's fantastic. Especially 'Perfect Blue' which has to be one of the greatest thrillers in anime history. I honestly can't believe that I haven't been able to sit down and watch Paprika yet even though I own it... makes me a very sad panda indeed. T_T

I think that scene could be the subject of three fetishes: Vore, age progression and giantess. Not really inflation though, since after the first growth it's barely visible.

I just finished watching it. Best animated film I have seen in a while. If you enjoy the concepts of fantasy and reality being bent significantly, I recommend this film. Also, for those who have watched it, the other animated film made by the same director "Tokyo Godfathers" had a cameo towards the end of it. I also recommend that film as well.
Also just to keep with the topic, the scene with the professor was short, but nothing exciting. To be honest, the getup the professor was in reminded me of King KooKoo's from the movie Raggedy Anne and Andy, and he ballooned up as well. And the scene towards the end was nothing special either.

I wouldn't say you bothered. You did point out something and thats what counts. Besides I probably would have never gotten around to seeing this film if no one had mentioned it. So if this site gave out karma like the expansionmansion.com forums, you would definitely get some for being the first to point something like this out.
