Spontaneus de-lurkage!

Ok ok, Jagaimo beat me to the punch here, so now I feel like a copycat.. or copyfox, whatever you wanna call it...

I'm Sparky Fox, I've been lurking aroud the inflation community since.. er.. I don't remember.. I know since LVK was still at that other site... quite a while.

Anyway, I do mostly furry inflation stuff, I was raised on the greats (BigHorse, TinCrash, Lou Frank, many others).

I do mostly 3D renders, and the occasional story. My works can be found mostly on my Fur Affinity page http://www.furaffinity.net/user/sparkyfox/ (Careful, it is most definetely NSFW.)

Anyhow, my contact info isn't a whole lot..
Yahoo: CarnyFox
AIM: SparkyTFox

I'm not on Yahoo much, and on AIM even less than that. But feel free to drop me an offline, or PM me here in the forums.

I also do trades/requests, but remember, I mostly do furries.

Hopefully get the chance to chat with some of you and become more in the community than just a lurker :D

Later!

Ugh. Furries never look good in 3D. But from a modeling standpoint, you're pretty good. I would kill to be able to model anywhere near that good. I've been using Blender for well over a year and I have yet to make anything that looks remotely human. x.x

I agree. Furries don't look good in 3D. But I don't draw, so I do whatever I can, heh. I use DAZ studio, and a few premade models. I don't make anything from scratch besides textures, really.

I don't do furries, but if it helps with your fuzzy 3D problem, I use Cinema 4D (pirated) which comes with a module called Hair, which you can use to create realistic hair/fur/grass etc.

Oh, you should see what this bloke managed to do with LightWave:

That would be the Sasquatch hair/fiber rendering package at work (for Lightwave). It does really good work (as in, photo realistic). Maya's Shave and a Hair cut package is just as good. Poser does a decent job of hair rendering, but not fur (I haven't checked the latest versions, but 5 did decent hair...)

I wonder if Blender has anything similar...

Wow, that's amazing. Don't really like the style, though.

It does, but I don't know how well it works. Never managed to figure out how to get the thing to work.

Jagaimo

Meh, you got me beat on the art initiative for the community, that's for sure. You've got something great going on there, and I reckon you'll end up pretty awesome around here.

And that's my plan.
