ok, sorry, that's my bad. I didn't realize english wasn't your first language and I shouldn't have made fun of you for your grammar.

Joking about the death of someone in the community is NOT funny. If you have verifiable information, then post it. Otherwise this sort of stunt will get you banned from the forum.

How about this, as to why he updates are sporadic? She runs the sites and does the vids on the side. She does have a real life.

You try doing some vids.

You might get a more helpful or enlightening answer by asking Bambi directly, or posting on her forums.

Bit of a fallacious argument there -- appeal to pity, I think they call it. The difficulty of making videos and her busy schedule don't actually excuse the lack of content for paying customers.

If she has too much going on in real life, maybe she should put this business (or at least its monthly customer billings) on hold until things settle down. People obviously want the videos; they only get annoyed when they pay for things that don't appear.

I really do believe that's the key.

Actually, both of the forums on her inflation sites are closed. The only one left is at the ExpansionMansion, and so far as I know they don't allow discussion of non-EM sites there. So you'd have to email the admins of the sites, I think.

I did think having a forum for each of her sites was a bit excessive, if only from a money and hassle point of view on their end (and a "gotta log in three times to talk to the same people" point of view from mine), so "just" an EM forum makes a lot of sense to me. But that's just my opinion, and as has been well documented last year, my opinions are not necessarily welcome.

The_Warlock wrote:

I didn't think that was the actual policy, but I guess it might turn into that out of necessity. I was asked to edit my EM sig because it linked to my site, which featured content that violated their TOS. That's not content I uploaded to their site, but content I was hosting on mine. Their policy is all well and good to a point, but you can only control your own borders; it's not rational to think you can control the internet. When I asked if they'd looked into having one of those "you are now leaving our controlled area, anything you click on from this point on is at your own risk" things, like DeviantArt and several other websites have, I was soundly ignored. So maybe they have another solution planned, or maybe we're looking at it.

I don't envy what they've been through, and I absolutely understand why they're so proactive about keeping the forum under strict rules. But if their safest route turns out to be the most restrictive and it discourages sharing of info or traffic, it doesn't hold much interest to me.

Daggerguy

Bleh. I still remember when it was Stormzone, good times. It could be that she's updated her sites but you might not notice because all of her videos blend together. Not to sound like a mean person but I think the EM has done a fine job of making themselves the Bannana Republic of the inflation community. I still take a quick look at the forums everyonce in awhile to see if anybody has stumbled upon anything decent to look at, but then again most links are taken down right away and people often live in fear of the heavy handed mods. I've always been more of a lurker than an active poster but I just find EM the worst "big" inflation site on the web. I've found them unfriendly and uncaring so it doesn't suprise me that they'll count your cash while doing little to earn it.

Don't climb the tree if you can't run naked through the kitchen.

Anonymous

I'll have to say, they don't seem to be much of a community. Like you mentioned, couple heavy handed mods, not a lot of people actually talking, and nothing going on, I hardly check it anymore.

I still repsect Bambi and her business. She knows that if she wants more money to put out more videos and what not, but in my personal opinion if she is going to be infrequent about it, don't expect many people to stick around for a couple months waiting on it. Set up a new payment basis or a payment for each individual video like Taylor Made. I know that's probably not what she wants to hear either but it certainly keeps people not feeling ripped off, and really they're not. It just sucks that you have to pay $25 for one new 12 minute video and a bunch of videos that you've already picked through and downloaded the ones you've liked.

I know from experience that it's hard to find reliable hosting for a very large adult-oriented website. Apparently, their host has a ridiculously strict TOS which is why they blitzkrieg any post having any picture or video or link or link to a link with a child in it. In spite of that, I'd say only about three posts a day get removed on average. Also, there are sites that ask that their stuff not be posted on other forums. The moderating is not quite as draconian as it seems, and saying that forum's traffic is dying is reminiscent of the posts that say inflation is dying as a fetish...a bit of overreaction to a lull in activity. Some of the traffic is concentrated in a few posts that people keep adding pictures to every other day and I'm sure there are plenty of lurkers consuming those pictures.

I don't know what Bambi's current situation is and don't know when the next update will be, but of course it would make more sense to ask the site contacts than ask that here.

citizensix

From what I can tell they are doing longer videos that you have to buy individually now. If you click on shopping on the bambiblaze page there's a new video called "Phases" but it's $30(which is pretty expensive if you ask me). Also I think that really kind of sticks it to the people that have a membership at her site because you don't get any kind of discount or anything, you just have to pay an additional $30 to get content that you thought you were already paying for...

Dexy

THANK YOU Mix Master for saying what I have been thinking all along! I don't get why she doesn't just produce a video, put up some stills or a short clip, set a price for it and let the people decide if they want it or not, exactly like Taylor does. Just think, that would eliminate 100% of the "no new content" bitching that has constantly gone on since she opened her first website some years back. If the quality is good (meaning creative and/or sexy - whatever floats your boat) people will buy it AND they would not always be in the situation of constantly apologizing to their paying customers. Seems pretty simple to me.

Quoting myself:
"Bambi had surgery within the past week to correct a serious problem within her neck that has been plaguing her for at least the past 6 months.

Bambi is now recovering from that surgery, and is doing quite well.

I am sure that everyone has noticed that she has not been online much for a very long time. This was due to her neck problem making it very difficult for her to sit at and use her computer, and, well, everything else for that matter. Hopefully this surgery will permanently correct the problem, and she will be able to come back online and be her normal happy self.

Before anyone asks when she will be updating her websites:
Filming videos will resume as soon as Bambi is physically capable of doing so, but knowing Bambi, probably a little sooner than she should. (What can I say, she loves making videos for her members, when her neck doesn't feel like an ice pick is being jammed in it.)
I do not have an estimate as to when she will be ready to film. Her recovery is the primary concern for the time being."

Also, for those who are commenting about membership fees and content, please note that the membership fee is not a down payment future updates but rather a fee for access to the content already in the members section. Anyone may cancel their membership at anytime either through the billing service they used, or by contacting us through our contact page.

Inflate123, my apologies to you for not responding to you about the "you are now leaving..." disclaimer. I do like this idea, and I will be discussing it with Bambi when she has had a chance to recover a bit more from her surgery.

Ah, thanks -- this is the clarification I was looking for: The fees are for site access, which may or may not contain new content at any time.

Hope the surgery recovery goes well.

That's $30 for the DVD, which is probably the highest quality that she offers. $30 is still a little steep for my tastes, but I'm sure hardcore Bambi fans have already snapped up a couple.

AirWolf
AirWolf's picture

As to the DVD's, they are the same videos available in the member's section, but as MixMaster said, they are in a higher quality format.

$29.95 for a 35 minute DVD, which is about 86 cents per minute for an adult fetish video. It seems reasonable to me. Of course, this is an actual DVD with DVD quality images and audio, not a compressed video file that you have to download. Some people prefer to have something they can physically hold on to....

I've had a BB subsription before (a while back before the 2nd woman came into the picture) but I always thought that liquid inflatable breasts would be more interesting to me. I like air of course, but there was seemingly only some test shots of any sort of liquid-inflated breasts. I know that there is a lot of limitations for this though, the biggest one being weight, as you can't get too much water before it becomes unbearable on one's back.

I have been researching materials and chemical for possible liquid-expansions in the future.

As you mentioned, weight is the primary problem at this point.

It's ridiculous how AirWolf and co act as if they're not gouging their members. Also worrying is how tight lipped they keep about certain things that really should be said on her site. Medical problems, having surgery, going on hiatus? Say it on the site. Don't lead people to blindly hope that updates will come while happily taking their money because they weren't informed to know better than to pay for nothing.

And 30 bucks for a "35 minute video" which is a good chunk of the M&L Productions logo, some scenery of a yard or a garage or living room set to B horror movie music and generally padded with shots to take up time? Ohhh yeah, real bargain. It almost pains me to think people might actually be falling for that, but don't worry, I'll help you out by selling you this fantastic bridge in Brooklyn.

But it's always something, isn't it? Medical problems, legal problems, life issues. Yeah, they're all completely understandable but hard to sympathize with as a paying customer when it was only mentioned AFTER the multiple months of silence and taking of money.

And the fact AirWolf is even active here again worries me for the fate of this board. How long until they find something to cry about and A: buy it out, B: turn it into another advertising post or C: stomp their feet until VKane takes the site down. Hell, they already destroyed bbwchan once or twice.

tl;dr Bambi Blaze website is overpriced bullshit and the people who run it use hamfisted moneygrubbing business tactics and people eat it up.

And such is me! I'm always bored and always open to chat or what have you. ^^

This. Honest to god, this.

I actually liked some of Bambi Blaze's newer videos, I thought the props were actually getting pretty good and the editing was getting much better. Just the lack of updates/info were what bothered me, if it was updated on a regular basis I don't think it would have been a problem for most people.
It did kind of suck how they finally got all these cool new props and hardly ever used them in any videos.

Are you forgetting the fact that bbw-chan went down of it's own accord, and the the once removed /i/ (inflation) board was removed because the Admin of that site didn't want to deal with a multitude of legitimate copyright infringement complaints made by several contributors in the inflation community?
I guess so.

Anyway, questions were being asked in this thread, and others, that I could answer. Pardon me for wanting to help out when I am able to do so.

Yeah don't try and bullshit a bbwchan mod who actually knew what was going on.

Don't even get me started on that horrible scheme to try and sway the artists of the expansion community to make it so you make money off their work and try to get a monopoly on all the good artists that AGAIN is outrageously priced for very little content per month. I'm talking about the ripoff that is Expansioncomics, for those who could not tell.

Also, ask AirWolf about how he's completely fine with leaving copyright content or content that is politely asked to be removed by its owners on the ExpansionMansion forums and turns a blind eye to those requests but throws a shitfit if someone dares to post a PREVIEW picture from any of Bambi's sites on a forum.

Did you know that? He complained about a preview picture. He threatened legal action over an image on the front page of their website in a thread asking if Bambi's videos were any good.

slayer

The only way you should subscribe to her is 1 time a year. Then you download 12 movies for 1 monhts payment (about 40 dollars), then you cancel your membership, and I wait a whole year to subscribe again.
To pay 40 dollars a month is the same as paying 40 dollars for one video that lasts 5 or 10 minutes. That is rippoff.
She should do like taylormade; pay pr. download. And Taylor is much cheaper too AND I think her videos are better. The only video I actually enjoyed by bambiblaze was "reveng of dr. part 2...or something" :p.

*yawn* Drama is so boring. You do realize that people can just go and look at your accusations for themselves? I have no quarrel with the Admin or staff of bbw-chan. They have done a wonderful job removing illegally posted content.

If you were hoping to upset or irritate me, you failed, and you will continue to fail. The fact that you couldn't quote my post with out making childish alterations to it only suggests that you are not a person with a maturity level who would offer input that I would either consider or respect.

Oh, I see what you're going to do here. Try and pretend you're on some moral high road. Either way, I've made my point and I don't give a damn to "upset or irritate you" I simply wish to keep the expansion community properly informed to what is really going on and not the "No, we're doing this for your own good, give us your money, if you don't then here, feel pity for Bambi until you do." spin you're putting on everything.

I only wonder what you and your buddies will have the nerve to charge for and try to hoard for yourselves next.

Maturity level? He translated your post for you. Your irritation or lack thereof is insignificant when we honestly want you to go away.
