That was actually rather cute. I like her character design, oddly enough. They did a good job of integrating the fox-features, especially around her face, without making her seem too animal-like.

WTF? When the hell was this cartoon made? I remember there being a Lilo and Stich cartoon coming out after the movie, but this totally passed me up (yes, I am 4 year old and I still watch the occasional cartoon)

It came out around the same time as the cartoon series in the US started. In fact, this was not the only cartoon that Japan has adopted from the US and modified for their own audiences. They did the same thing with the Power Puff Girls and it is still going strong.
