BE in The Haunted World of El Superbeasto

Not for the squeemish or the easily offended but in Rob Zombie's cartoon "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto" the character Velvet Von Black has the ability to inflate her breasts and ass which she uses quite often. Not the biggest fan of BE but even I'l admit it was really good. As for the movie itself, I thought it was a lot of fun to watch but as I said earlier, not for the squeemish and not for the easily offended. Lot's of vulgar stuff. You've been warned.

There are some images of her, wallpapers etc, but none using her, um, talents. But if you read her character profile, it's certainly implied.

On DVD today, as it turns out. I like this kind of retro Tex Avery stuff (now with more swearing!) so I appreciate the tip.

A quick Youtube fetched this, on the subject.

Brief Breast and rear inflation, and your mileage may vary.

Inflation: Not just for economics anymore!

Wow, I must be psychic. :| I saw this movie on the shelf at Fry's a few days ago and my wife and I thought it looked funny, so we bought it. Didn't actually watch it until last night, but god was it funny! There is a full 10 or 12 minute segment of Velvet Von Black blowing up her breasts & butt over and over...as well as using them in some seudo-kunf-fu stuff, weird. The one huge let down for me...Velvet was very obviously drawn, well, white...as in sin color. So why in the world does she have this very, very, very annoying black woman's voice? Maybe the name Velvet Von Black combine with the voice is supposed to be some kind of joke...if so, I don't get it. Still a very funny movie worth seeing at least once!

wait, so she puffs her cheeks up every time she uses her "talents"? and half the time it's achieved by her blowing on her thumb? might have to see this whole movie!

The fact that she puffs on her thumb when she blows her boobs and butt up, is quite interesting to me, and i don't even really like BE and butt expansion.

Guess I'll have to rent this sometime.

Ylandra

Hahaha Just looked up the actress that voices her. It's the girl from Pluto Nash who has her bum and boobs inflated at the body alteration clinic.

Agreed, there's no way that's a coincidence...

Scorpious1109

It's also the chick from Clerks 2. Can't think of any expansion that happens to her in the movie, except for the preggo belly she has at the end.

Um, guys? I think you're trying too hard to connect things that have no connection.

Funny thing is, I was thinking the exact same thing. XD

The mention of apophenia brings to mind this link: 6 Fetish Fuel Movies. Yes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory makes the list.

The author goes over each movie and ponders whether the fetish appeal was intentional. It's worth a read. I disagree with much of it, but his reasoning is interesting.

Without access to inside knowledge, it's all speculation. But how do you tell the difference between a subject played for humorous or dramatic effect that happens to be a fetish for some, and a scene that was actually intended to play to a particular fetish?

Personally, I don't think the El Superbeasto scene was fetish driven. I just see an inflation gag played for some cheap laughs. I don't see much focus on the aspects of inflation that make it appealing to the fetish community.

Interesting read all around, thanks for posting.

Corpse Bride for necrophiles? I'd disagree, but as you said, a good article anyway.

...and for the record, I had fetishy thoughts long before I saw WWatCF, years before I connected it to anything sexual. Others may have gotten into it from the film, but for me, it was just a visible confirmer of what was playing out in my head for several years by that point.
