As long as you're smart. You're giving yourself an enema. As more water goes, the more your intestines will expand. Just stop when it becomes uncomfortable. Some people have managed to have good success with it, for me, the amount of inflation isn't worth the constant runs to the toilets afterwards to get all the water out.

I can take an entire six quarts, but it's 1) difficult to hold it all in, to put it mildly and 2) it's time-consuming, since (not to put too fine a point on it) requires several trips as noted earlier to completely empty myself of certain substance to make room for all the water. Alternately, I could try taking 4 quarts and just drink two quarts of sugar-free kool-aid, water or the (C2O-free) like.
