I am a person that naturally curious and have studies some psychology, inflation for me is feeling helpless, ever since I was young i imagined situations of being tied up or being inflated. My father was very controlling and liked to belittle me so I have a really hard time being empowered. I was wondering if others are like me also feel the same way or had maybe similar stories and backgrounds please share.

I'm also attracted to inflation because of the helplessness aspect, but I don't know if it has anything to do with exterior factors. I was, in fact, the youngest in the family and a bit of a wimp, so I got picked on a lot by my older brother and schoolmates. But my fetish began before I even began school, or reached an age that my brother began beating on me. So I think it just boils down to what I believe is my natural sexual submissiveness.

For me inflation is about watching someone be in a helpless, embarrassing situation while they steadily expand, as their clothes tighten and rip at the seams.
I love the inflation process, especially the beginning with the clothes, on both males and females for some reason (including boob inflation) even though I'm not into females. I'm not nearly as interested in the final result.
I don't have any traumatic background that's linked to my fetish. I think it came from watching the classic Violet Beauregarde expansion as a kid. Ever since I was a kid I had a fascination with expansion, but it was a little more innocent in those days. not that I get very explicit these days, but, you know, there was less clothes popping back then than now.

It's all visual: I saw it in cartoons growing up, so BANG, I make the subconscious association and get aroused when I see it.
I don't like seeing it done or simulated live action, though, because in the back of my mind is always the thought "This is a real human being, with real anatomy," and thus I start thinking about the stretched muscles, the circulation problems, all the stuff mentioned in mangapunksai's comic on the topic, and I don't get hard.
