Just to prove i'm not crazy.

I think we're going to need a lot more than an article in the Daily Star to prove THAT. :) Still, congrats -- I'm sure it's a thrill to see your work get national exposure.

As for everybody screaming and yelling that they didn't put females in the outfits...for heaven's sake, shut up. We had one of our own get a very cool opportunity for his very specialized inflatable work. Can you be happy for him long enough to stop saying "But what about what I talked myself into expecting I would see"? Not to mention that there are females among us on this very board who like to see guys inflated. Maybe this one's for them, huh?

A TV show bought these suits for their own goals. If their goals are not your goals, get your own suits and hire your own models. Otherwise, accept that everything inflatable in the world is not made for your specific whims. You sound like selfish fucking crybabies during what should be a celebration for a friend.

Thanks Inflate 123!

I think the community these days are so god dam spoiled!!
I remember trying to record or catch shows onto VHS, there was no youtube and videos where painfully large at 10meg back when we had 56k modems. Even then, one of the only places to find these compressed videos where on your site. (Thank you for that BTW)

So you don't have something to jerk off to this week. I'm sorry guys. Go get a girl friend and put her in a suit of your own, show her online for everyone else to fap too.

I'm sorry if i'm ranting, but I think you're spoiled with how much inflation media there is out there these days.

As for me, i'm into guys. So i'm as happy as a footballer in a flubber suit!

You have no idea how belittling it is, going to the effort of making youtube videos. Only to be told every second comment is.
"Hey I wish it was a girl, could you get a girl?"
or
"I wish you inflated bigger"

I guess people these days are never ever satisfied or appreciate what they have.

(BTW, i'm not old, i'm only 27 this year, this spoiled attitude has only popped up in the last 5 years.)

I'm proud of my work and it means the world to me that I could get some inflation suits into a main stream show.
Sorry there isn't something for your spank bank, best get back to DA to hound artists for more free art.

Here's some caps from online.

To be honest, it was quite comical and funny. Especially when they fell on the floor and couldn't get up.

I told them they prob were not needed for what they wanted to do.

*laughs* It's a reference to a famous movie you uncultured kid.

Also how does being proud of ones work make them a big shot?

Since you already think I'm cocky, I'll go back to being awesome and you and go back to being you, which.. lets face it, isn't very awesome at all really..

Nope, no inflation neither. Just inflated bouncing.

Must of found it to hard to pull the hoses going to the suits (and maybe the noise of them being blown up being caught in the microphones).
Ahh well, puffy suit fun none the less. :D

This isn't what I wanted to see at all, you suck I hope you die, I'm going to buy a gun and go on a killing spree because of this!

But seriously, I had no great expectations, I knew that with blowup boy knowing so little specifically about how the suits would be used, it was a fairly small chance that women would be put into them and we would see them inflate. If inflated male pop-singers is what floats your boat then enjoy, if not move on.

Did they have to get into them from under the legs? Cos I didn't see any zips!

Blow up boy, Hey, I'm happy for your success and appreciate you letting us share it with you. Thanks for not forgetting us. As for folks like "the big Z"... Blow up boy IS a "big shot". When did you ever invent a blow up suit that got national exposure? Keep up the good work Blow Up, there are PLENTY of us out here that appreciate it.

I think most of us very happy that our inflatable suits have not received national exposure! 8O

That's exactly what being cocky is. That is also what being uptight is. And is also a bad case of "Small name, big ego" syndrome.

You should get that checked out.

Feroxodon

Is there going to be a video of the suits in action for those of us not in the UK? I for one am still interested in seeing them!

Egh what a pain in the ass thread. I doubt it really has anything to do with inflatechanners, but if blaming them makes someone feel better go right ahead.
The "borderline retarded with huge sense of entitlement" jerks are everywhere. Gonna sound old- but like inflate123 mentioned, perhaps if they grew up catching snippets on VHS and not even having the internet, they might appreciate the kind of content they actually have taste for at their fingertips other than bothering others over factors they have little control of.
Nice work BB, your suits look very nice.

That said, I do compulsively hunt the holy grail of inflation...I'm sure its out there, somewhere. :D

Yes, because anyone who was disappointed by a lack of perceived content is a "borderline retarded jerk who thinks they're entitled to everything", Sure.

Anyway, I've been seeing a very disturbing tread on this site where anytime any sort of "content" is posted and the resulting backlash because it's not always what someone wanted, the dinosaurs of this community immediately accuse us 'youngsters' as "ungrateful jerks with a huge ego problem where they think everything has to be catered to they're own specific interests". What. The. Hell?

Granted, I'm sure some people here behave like they have a false sense of "entitlement", but really, who cares? This is the Internet for pete's sake, and just like InflateChan, people will always complain about something they don't like. But just because people complain about something, doesn't mean you have to get your panties tied in a knot over it.

I understand that the "founding members" of this community didn't have as much access to fetish content like we do now, so I'm sure they were happy to just take what they could get, regardless of how "good" it was. So whenever people freak out about how much something "sucks", they tend to wave their finger in their face and tell 'em how they need to be more satisfied whenever something comes their way.

But seriously, who gives a shit when someone doesn't like something? Just because they voice their own disappointment over something, it doesn't always immediately make them a selfish jerk because the universe didn't bend to their will. I just think it's silly over how some people here get so upset whenever someone mentions that they dislike something.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't paint all of us with the same brush.

I'm not a jerk with a sense of entitlement to anything. With this community involved, I try to take everything with a gran of salt. And no, this wasn't aimed as a message of disrespect to anyone here, just getting my point across.

As for the video that this thread was originally created for: Personally I don't really care, considering that female contestants were never confirmed for this, so I just counted my losses and moved on.

Some people here viewed it as a tragic loss, while others were very butthurt by these "entitlement jerks's" sense of shortcoming.

Regardless, at least someone here did something that got aired on TV, despite it wasn't something that everyone wanted. So at least let BlowupBoy stroke his own ego if it makes him feel better about himself.

TL;DR, I'm done here.

Hmm...hmm...... No sir, I don't like this post.

kidquetzal

I understand. And I'm not painting any particular subgroup except those who constantly whine. Sure if you don't like something you have every right to say its shit.

My problem is chiefly that nothing amazing was promised, or paid for, so what almost seem like personal attacks (other than voiced disappointment) on contributers seem a bit unjustified imho. The reason I don't like this is when people don't like something a particular person does, and are terribly vocal about it, 'some' writers/ artists or whatever will feel less inclined to contribute to the people who do enjoy it because its all too easy for them to say well fuck it, if no one likes it, then I wont bother.

I do absolutely realize whatever stupid shit gets thrown up on the internet is not gonna make everyone happy. It just seems that bizzarely enough, some don't, and feel the world should cater to their particular tastes. Can we not just be gentlemen and relax a little?

carnatic

No, I mean no-one's saying that everyone who has come new to the community in the last few years is an entitled jerk, and no-one really knows who amongst us is older and who is young. Some of the 'dinosaurs' are still only in their twenties themselves.

But it is true that those people who do get all pissy when free content isn't to their liking are a relatively recent addition. I don't think saying that this is the internet and that just has to be lived with is necessarily the right attitude. That's like saying that the fact some people will murder others is human nature and just has to be lived with. Both may well be human/internet nature but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be discouraged, or that if educating people who consistently troll and flame doesn't work then we shouldn't just remove them from the community.

We have inflatechan now, and that can be a blessing and a curse. The people running that are much less concerned if people want to bitch and moan. One the one hand it fans the flame of, well flaming which might make the attitude spill over to here; but on the other hand we can say if you do want to moan because of your self entitlement, then do it there not here.

Despite all this 'this is the internet' stuff, individual sites still can make rules to ensure that their message-boards are as harmonious and welcoming as possible. The reason why Luther and most of us 'dinosaurs' want this place to be like that is that this is often the first place people come to when they discover/accept their fetish and we want it to be a friendly place where they can feel accepted, not somewhere where they risk being judged and abused. There's nothing wrong with wanting that, there's no reason to say that because the bad attitudes are endemic to the internet we should just put up with them.

Because it discourages other people from sharing if they think whatever they share will be harshly rejected. And when it's being rejected on purely personal taste issues anyway, that's just bullshit. The point of this is to be welcoming and encourage each other. You can do that without interrupting the wanking.

You've figured it out -- if something isn't for you, move along. Everybody else hasn't figured that out, but how do they learn? Being told "don't do that here."

That's all. No TL;DR necessary. Now get off my lawn.

Jesus. You people are lunatics.

And not because of the whole inflation thing ;-)

This is pretty cool, it's nice to see you get such a high amount of recognition and work for a TV show (I read that you also made one for windows, congrats on that as well.)

For anyone looking for a link to the clip, just check the post above me. There isn't any girls in the suits, so you horny buggers can just deal with it and enjoy a funny segment ;)

(Not on here too often, replies might be slow.)
