In my experiences, most of the women in the community prefer women to be inflated, or rather prefer to be the inflatee themselves... male inflation seems pretty rare among both sexes.

I'd prefer it be with people that are of average weight, which, to me, means a little bit of extra meat on them. Not too much, though.
Inflation to me isn't a gender thing, and, honestly, I find that larger breasts just get in the way.
Actually, I would prefer that the person/creature being inflated is as androgynous as possible, perhaps leaning a tad toward the masculine side.
I would prefer self inflation, but it's a more personal fantasy that I wouldn't be sharing with a mate...

Yea... male inflation is weak in both genders. I (one of the few) prefer seeing attractive/shy men to inflate. These would include punk and emo sorta of people, as well as geeks like me. ^_^
However, I do prefer self-inflation over inflating someone else. I think is more tied to the fact that I like to be on bottom and I'm naturally submissive.
Just tossing in my two cents about inflating men, but didn't vote since I'm not a lady.

I wish I could vote multiple options. I prefer inflating myself or other woman, but I like seeing men inflating too, but only if I like the man/guy who is inflated. (that guy from the movie "bubble boy" would be a good choice ;) )

It's a big problem being someone into male inflation in this community, because so few other people like it (especially females).
We also have to put up with people explaining themselves when really it's all just down to sexual impulse. Y'know, when people say "women are more fun to inflate!" or "their bodies are more suited!" or some rubbish when it all comes down to the fact they just don't get off to the same things.
I have nothing against people who don't like male inflation (it's practically everyone here after all; even I prefer female inflation sometimes), but let's just keep the patronising to a minimum.

That's funny. When I was a kid I believed that naughty girls liked to inflate boys, of course joking since is not possible in real life.
In official stuff(I mean movies, comics, caroons, etc.) most of the inflated characters are males. I suppose the comical characters tend more to be males, and the villains too, so inflation can be a punishment for them.
I like male inflation due to an indirect effect. I like the thought of a woman enjoying it. Women are supposed to be weaker and kinder, and being fooled and outsmarted by them is a surprise, humiliating yet attractive thing.
I think I've seen several girls at DevArt who liked inflating male cartoon animal characters, like Donald Duck, Goofy or the Pink Panther. Since this site is mostly for human inflation, I don't think they'd be here wandering around and is too late to add the option to the poll.

I dont like round inflation for that very reason: its uninteresting and it may as well be a guy blowing up.
pballooned, Ive always wondered about that too. I think there is some sort of subconscious social contract that makes it in bad taste to do those kinds of pranks to women, or probably its just a two way street vanity (in which case its not the woman being vain, but the people that like them being vain for them as well). In cartoons that are more...daring, possibly adult (like Drawn Together), they are not shy whatsoever to put their girls to ridiculous situations. As of yet though, no inflation...at least none on an atractive charcater.

I prefer females being inflated (completely round, blueberry-style) because I identify with the victim. And even tho' I'm a straight female, I enjoy attractive female victims. Can't really figure that one out...
But I don't mind seeing a guy inflate if it's against his will and he's young, innocent-seeming, and vulnerable.

Unless mean inflator girl is not impersonated, but being led by someone as third person.
Like two RPers (regardless of gender) both play as inflatees.
Nice scenario I'd like to try is me and nice cute girl being both inflated in a narrow room (by some evil mistress, or even by accident).

This is my favorite scenario in stories, art, vids, and when I'm being inflated.
There's just something about 'not being in control' while feeling the pressure build up that I find very sexy.
