I know there's no definite answer but I think this is a good question. How many inflationists are there in the world? Are we a surprisingly huge community or are we only a very small minority? And how many of us are from whichever countries? Any idea where the highest concentration of us are from? Just a thought that popped in my head, maybe we can start a census lol.

Before you can begin to try to answer this question, you have to define what "inflation" is. I and some other inflationists (sorry, I can't remember who else--Inflate123, I think) were once interviewed for a book called "Deviant Desires: Incredibly Strange Sex" which was about fetishes. The author had a theory that fetishes have traits that are similar to one another, and she actually included a fetish "map" in the book showing how different fetishes overlap.
Over the years, breast expansion fetishists, pregnancy fetishists, blueberry fetishists, inflatable latex catsuit fetishists, air enema fetishists, air swallowing fetishists, weight gain fetishists, deflation fetishists, balloon stuffing (into clothes) fetishists, furry inflationists, transformation fetishists and others have been part of this group. These are arguably all different fetishes--although many of us enjoy several of these, there are several people who only enjoy one of them but still consider themselves to be "body inflation" fetishists. And there are some people among us who don't consider themselves to be body inflation fetishists at all, and are only here because their fetish overlaps with body inflation--so they're still able to find what they're looking for here.

Quite a lot I think. I was dating this girl a few months ago and I told her about my fetish (inflatable suit fetish), and she said she had been on another date too with
a guy who had the same fetish. In the same town where I live!
And now with the internet, all the sites who does it, the forums. I feel it's quite many.

For me, inflation is just a subset of my other fetish interests; rubber, latex, dominance, submission, growth, humiliation, objectification, etc.
So another interesting question would be, for how many people is this their only fetish.
Also, if someone pops, is it -1 or +1000, evening concentration on the floor? ^_^
Really good question, considering that this fetish gradually merges with a regular fantasy of blowing up that's shown in movies, books and on TV regularly. There are beautiful threads here on cartoon inflation and video inflation sightings. Logic says, fetishes are evenly spread, so the more people, the more of us there ^_^ imho.
