It’s certainly a possibility. I talked to the head guy a while ago. Pretty okay dude, said something about having me be the guest of honor at some point, not sure when. Probably not this year. I assume he was exaggerating.

I can't recall if it was a hard edged rule last year of zero photos be able to be taken, but the policy about taking photos on the site says:
Convention security will be ready to help resolve an issue if you feel your privacy is jeopardized. We encourage convention goers to ask permission before including someone else in a photo. We also encourage cosplay, especially if it makes you feel comfortable hiding behind a mask, prosthetics or makeup.
In short, I guess be discreet and dont take anyone's picture that doesnt want to be in the shot.

I chalk this up to "things that come with the territory". Given a shield of anonimity, people will say anything, especially in regards to topics such as this. If I were a model, I would expect some of the grossest shit to be said to me, and carry on with my day. Sure, its uncomfortable, and Im not saying thats how it should be, mind you, buts that how it is.
However, even though there are skeezers in our midst, I don't recall hearing about anyone getting out of line towards the models or anyone else for that matter last year, so maybe the skeezers stay at home?

Like, the person recieving the nasty comments or the other people who hear the comments as a passerby? Its a shame if someone is getting pelted with unwanted crass messages all day from strangers, but not a lot can be done besides reporting more tenacious creepers or plain calling them out and the person in question ignoring it. As per passerbys I'd imagine most people just dont feel the need to tell someone "Hey, youre a bonafide douche canoe" when they see riveting commentary like "Koa want to have sex with me and be my girlfriend" or the previously mentioned classic "I masturbate to you". Most people, MOST, have some sort of awareness to not say things that are obvious without having to be mentioned specifically.
I'd frankly be interested in hearing peoples "That Guy/Girl" stories if anyone cared to share. I mean the proverbial "That Guy/Girl", like encounters that make your skin crawl.

While I'm unsure that it will change your mind, but Im pretty sure cosplay of anything was allowed, it didnt have to be specifically tied to growth/size/expansion. Come to think of, besides seeing an exhibitor dressed up as a Final Fantasy(?) character with a bit of padding in the top and a woman modelling for Juggalos, I dont recall anyone else who wore anything relatable. Definitely other cosplayers though, I remember seeing an Attack on Titan one that was pretty neat.

If I was a girl, I'd just dress up like Nami lol, so I'd be limited to do something else, but I'd imagine the best thing to do is cosplay an OC, especially for any big name people with easily recognizable OCs, but that's just me :)
