Any Katana/Rain fatalities in the new game that'd interest us? Probably not, that'd look really strange with the high fidelity graphics

Rain isn't even in the game, still hoping he makes it as Dlc at some point.

kitana had her kiss again, but it's like "shaolin monks" where there's no inflation.

Well, on the plus side Kitana's Kiss of Death returns as a Brutality along side a number of other old school finishers. On the downside, there is no inflation. As Darkburster pointed out, it's pretty much like the Shaolin Monks version, except the characters don't do the robot before they explode.

Where's Rain when you need him? Unfortunately, he won't be DLC again. The Switch port of MK11 was datamined, 9 characters were discovered along with their pre-fight dialogues. The characters are Shang Tsung, Sindel, Nightwolf, Sheeva, Fujin, Ash Williams, Joker, Spawn and Terminator.

If there is any chance of inflation appearing in MK11 at this point, all bets should be on Fujin. He is the God of Wind, so maybe he could do something.

As for it potentially looking strange? On the contrary, with the rendering and graphical leaps they've made since MK9, it would probably look wonderful.

This is NetherRealm we are talking about here. No it wouldn't.

Those of you who volunteered to be injected with praying mantis DNA, I've got some good news and some bad news. Bad news is we're postponing those tests indefinitely. Good news is we've got a much better test for you: fighting an army of mantis men.

I thought it didn't look that bad in mk9...

it it depends if they actually animate the reaction, or just get lazy with it...

Process

They probably found out that people get off to the expansion, so they left it out.

If that were the reason, we wouldn't have fatalities at all due to the whole "guro" fetish

i think they just don't wanna animate it, too much work. Shame cuz it coulda been used for a few characters and still look graphic

(dvorah, noob, and of course kitana)

I got a question, do you think the more clothes the girls wear makes better inflation?

Not really, I prefer to see some bare stomach personally. I like to think clothes add pressure as they inflate though, making it more painful, but also helping them pop faster from the added pressure

A fun question.... i thing i like clothing because it shows of how big or round the inflatee is. If she is naked it always looks smaller.

I noticed something a bit interesting. It's nothing to get excited over, but I figured it was worth mentioning. Someone recently dug up Johnny Cage announcer audio files for MK11. He has a few nicknames for each fighter upon selection, one of them being called "Blueberry".

It's probably either for Kitana or Sub-Zero, given that the latter is referred to as "Grandmaster Blueberry Ice" in one of his pre-fight dialogues by Cage.

As for the former? Shortly before Rain's release as DLC in MK9, NetherRealm teased via Twitter MK2 Kitana and Jade skins as "Blueberry and Lime". Both skins were bundled with the conniving demi-god.

Maybe I'm reaching here, but I suspect this isn't a coincidence.
