Ok Waka, let's leave inflation outta the definition for now and consult our friendly Wikipedia...
"In role-playing, participants adopt characters, or parts, that have personalities, motivations, and backgrounds different from their own. Role-playing is like being in an improvisational drama or free-form theatre, in which the participants are the actors who are playing parts."

...and so further to the inflation context (that I've just now made up) is 'Roll Playing'. That's where you playfully inflate someone then roll them around...
RPing is short for Role Playing.
It is basically two (or more) people roleplaying as though a certain event were happening. Such as one being inflated by the other. Usually the one being inflated is describing the process going on with them. But that is roleplaying in a nutshell.
