how do you like them, cartoony or realistic

i would like to get as much info as possible concerning general interests of this group to eventually draw t ill my eyes pop out.
naturally, to do so, i must ask a few questions.
i think it s interesting to be able to see your favorite cartoon element inflated or be BEed, but what do you think of your favorite playmate or star who you ve always wanted to see with even more curves.
tell me what you think...
i need as many ideas as possible.

funkyjrtb

why don't you just draw what you want to draw? whatever you post is going to to recieve the comments that make it painfully clear what the commenter has a preference to, whether you like it or not; and your not going to cater to them all.

So, my advice, just draw what comes to your mind, not the others. Amuse yourself before them.

Funkyjrtb is right. You should draw what you like and not try to cater to everyone else.
But just since you asked, I prefer a nice ass expansion or super hourglass. Realistic or over the top, never was a fan of orbs though.

I will join the chorus. Draw for you, and you will find like-minded people who appreciate your work.

Yea...don't try to pander to what you percieve the majority of people want to see. You'll never make everybody happy and you'll drive yourself nuts. That's a big frustration for me...people pressuring me to draw the stuff THEY want to see, when I want to draw the stuff I want to see.

Just do YOUR thing, man!

Mogman

Whoo! Viva liberte! uhm...yeah just draw what you want man...you can't satisfy everyone. As long as it satisfies you then it's successful! :3

kraban

No problem about drawing what I like, don t worry, I have a mind of my own. it s just that as you maybe noticed, I m new in this group, and since I like statistics, I just wanted to know basically who you d like inflated since I had in mind to start a collection of celebrities.

I would prefer a cartoon character, cuz a real person would be unidentifiable, since I prefer the cartoonish inflation.

And I thought this thread was to discuss if you prefered realistic or cartoonish drawings, so I posted in those terms...lol

It depends on what I'm in the mood for. Some nights I'll check out Critical Volume's or BlooberBoy's works, and other nights I'll hit Project-P or Mark's Morphs.

I dont think people prefer one more than the other, so draw what you are better with. You could compare Critical Volume, Carnatic and Hoju(Freakingweirdo on DA). Each has one style (anime, comic, realistic) and all of them are awesome artists. Try pratcing each style to see what suits you better.

While I'm more for cartoony inflation, I still agree you should draw what you feel comfortable with (try experimenting if you're unsure, sometimes that is a good way to learn)

The thing with me and cartoony stuff is that since they are already a cartoon character makes it easier to accept and imagine them expanding. Plus they can exceed a few boundaries realistic stuff stops at.

Plus, cartoon women are very cute inflated.

I have in mind of introducing a very realistic style which is quite personal, (well, realistic stuff is quite always the same since it must resemble reality as much as possible) I was also thinking of making many episodes of my first character Celine, she will be a mis of anime and the more realistic style, hope u’ll enjoy.

irishdragon

i think a cross between realistic and cartoony would be cool

srflour

Good idea Kraban. Your pictures so far have been raising my pulse rate.

Going for "realistic" is (to me) setting your imagination free. There's a mischievous, rebellious, yet harmless foundation to the whole human spirit at work here. Plus it is challenging on the artistic side.

I like the many different approaches but I feel that true fantasizing that really works is when you give yourself permission to imagine whatever you want.

It's a fantasy, and whatever you/we want it to be, so why have limits which don't apply unless you let others tell you what you can and can't imagine? It's your fantasy in your mind. If we let other people dictate even this then how can we ever be our own person, discretely or otherwise?

We're having less control and less privacy in our lives than ever before, and the thought of surrendering even our own imaginations to an increasingly uptight world is the ultimate violation of our most fundamental human rights.

The inflation scenario, as such, is not (currently) possible. But if you can't have a fairly lucid dream of a person expanding right in front of you, because it isn't "possible", then you will enjoy life less for a whole lot of reasons. In fact it pretty much defeats the purpose of fantasy/fetish altogether. Nobody gets arrested or villified for auditioning for American Idol.

Dreams, which come from our imaginations, are what have have got us where we are today.

But at the same time, even "impossible" dreams can give us monumental and undeniably real pleasure, because what we feel and perceive is part of our own individual reality. It doesn't have to be anyone else's. But the internet has recently allowed us to discover that many others share this particular experience. That should be validation enough for all but the most insecure.

I would suggest that the reason contributors like Nexus and JD2000 (an influence for you I'm sure) are so widely popular are because they tend to make the impossible seem real.

I think you're on the right track.

Wow, that was loquaciously put! I've never heard of Nexus or JD2000 though, what do they contribute? and where?

srflour

It's what I think. I call it "Posting For Shits and Giggles..."

Your Kidding? You've never seen JD2000's work at ProjectP (Nexus' Site)?

thanks for your words, srflour,
i know about projectp, i remember he had a few problems with his site but now i guess everything s better. jd2000 s a good artist, he as well pays attention to detail as he uses his pencil( the coloring s something else, makes me think i should slowly start computer coloring... i hope you noticed i m still old school.)
what i enjoy drawing foe the group is anime or comic(dessins animés, donow how you call them in english), and make them realistic looking. But sadly it has nothing to do with what i usually do, well... perhaps you ll have a preview in a next update)
thanks again for your words, finally someone who likes details, i m working on a few farther adventures of celine, they ll be coming soon, if i suddenly don t get lazy.

Omoikane

I believe with the others, draw what you like best.

But about realistic or cartoony, but I personally draw cartoony/anime-ish.

deleted_20091014

ah JD2000 is crew97.. I'd recently 'discovered' him on DA. I guess the reason I'd not heard of him before is he seems to most do WG, which isn't really my thing.
