What guidelines would I need to follow in order to get a story submitted? Obviously, the standard for the site is PG-13, so what rules would I have to follow to not make it too explicit?

I think anything having to do with intercourse, insertions into private parts, etc. is over the line. One of my stories that had insertions was rejected.

There are a handful of R-rated stories that were grandfathered in from the old site. You might want to use those as a measuring stick.

First off I just want to say I'm not trying to spam anyone here... The only story I ever wrote is too "adult" for here as well as DA. However there are several yahoo groups whose mods might let you post such as: ballooninflation; or if they contain popping pop-in, kaboomstoryannex. Respectively their moderators are Alec Deluxe and Balloonfan; Belly Demon and Dwarf; and Korg_fal.
