Favourite method of Inflation

me,like wakkafan, enjoy being the inflatee which is pretty rare for a guy. my favourite method would be air or helium. however when i am a inflator i prefer blueberry inflation.

I like to be the inflator as well, though sometimes I do fantasize that I'm the one being inflated. Helium is the favorite of choice, followed by regular air. Forced inflation, magic, anytime where the inflatee isn't in control. Just to the point before bursting. Dont' care for popping though, just the danger that it can happen

I like to watch water and blueberry inflations. Something about the added weight gets me going.

I don't try and do real life inflation, fantasy stuff is fine with more.

More often I like women inflating and for some stories I've done the character was based of me.

in my job i've seen (and either done or written) it all! prefference wise: i'm 4 pregnancy inflation: breasts grow a bit, then the belly. no wt gain and the ass often stays the same.
the methods are endless (alien impregnation, magic, sex-toys and curses are favorites) but the result allways varies: birth is rare in my feild but the belly rarely lasts.

(one woman actually inflated HERSELF! she had an opperation and 8 months later she lost a baby... she found a way to cope... and i was holding the air-pump! not bad considdering i was 15)

I like being the inflator, but could deal with being the inflatee. My method is blueberry, air, and water. No popping.

True but there are also borderline cases where WG crosses over. Thinking of either Inflation with Fat or Vore stories.

Myself I like Water/Blueberry usually of women, but can be the inflatee (possibly including some TG aspect on my part)

Also really like some kind of insertion (pill/baloon inflates inside, object swallowed and inflatee shrinks around it)

No...no there are no borderline cases. Weight gain IS weight gain and inflation IS inflation. Jeez...get out your Websters and look at the definition of INFLATION. Not one time does it mention the word FAT. Filling up with fat is friggin' weight gain!!! What's so hard to figure out about that! Do y'all understand that to a hard core inflationist, the term "fat inflation" is sacrilege! THERE'S NO SUCH THING PEOPLE! And what the hell does vore have to do with inflation? That's feeding/cannibalism.

I'm getting tired as hell at having my inflation crap lumped into the same group with fat fans and gainers by people outside the community, who are as disgusted by ponderous, blobby, rolling mountains of cellulite dimpled flesh as I am. They are as clueless as some people on this board who also refuse to accept that there IS a difference; who will do or say anything to try to convince themselves, and everybody else otherwise!

You say that the dictionary doesn't mention "fat". Well, here's what I got on "Infation" on Dictionary.com

1. The act of inflating or the state of being inflated.
2. Distention with a fluid or gas.
3. The act of distending an organ or body part with a fluid or gas.

And here is what I got on "inflate"

1. To fill (something) with air or gas so as to make it swell.
2. To enlarge or amplify unduly or improperly; aggrandize.
3. To raise or expand abnormally or improperly.

It doesn't mention fat OR anything about inflating women. However, it does mention "fluid" and, last time I check, water was a fluid, and fluids have weight. So, this means that liquid infation is, by dictionary definitions, weight gain. This is because fluids have a weight to them. Gases do to, but, they are usually the same or less than the other gases around them. So, that gives it the "weight-less" preception by most here.

Now, to go on a bit wild tangent, one could say that muscle growth is also weight gain. This is so mainly because muscles weight a lot more than fat does. I know that this is not really part the infation subject, however, its to prove my point about that is all a matter of definitions of words.

Just for your information, this is what I got on "Weight gain/gaining/gainer"

For "Weight gaining"
bodybuilding that increases muscle mass and body weight

For "Weight gainer"
a person who gains weight

And "gainer" by itself
One that gains: a gainer of weight.

There is no mention of fat there either, just weight (very vague term there).

So, what am I saying. This is really a very stupid thing to argue about, not everyone is going to use the same definitions for things. Heck, even the dictionary doesn't.

BTW, I have been sneaking Muscle girl and water inflation pics into a Weight gain forum with no problem. One thing that you must realise, some poeple have a varity of tastes and will sometimes like all three (Dwarfpreist and meself are some of those people)

I guess I don't have a place in here anymore then, if I need to see artists that I *used* to respect, need to yell their distastes on others... sure, WG and inflation are diferent, but they still are based on the same thing, a body (human, anthro, male, female, etc...) growind big. I'm the inflator. The inflatee is a woman whose boobs and butt get blown up with helium to ridiculously balloon-like proportions. Often, at least some part of what's going on is against her will.

I still think the same applies, there is a crossover... there is a point where there are inflation fans who are into liquid inflation, may extend this to fat (which has many liquid properties)and inflate characters with fat, making them take on more of a fat appearance. Though they usually still have it happen quickly as opposed to traditional weight gain... similarly some WG fans start to draw heavy characters who no longer have rolls of fat and multiple chins, and look more like they are inflated with fat... then they may be into other liquid inflation, as fat has many liquid properties. I still know that most people on here don't come anywhere near this crossover, being firmly inflation or WG, but the point it whatever else we have in common we are all fetishists, so the least we can do is be understanding to one another, and discuss whether this should be a place where that crossover is allowed (Luther's decision at the end of a day, and in about 10 years of this site running he has yet to exclude WG) in a civilised manner.

I like fast weight gain as in magic or science.

And yeah, inflation via air is so much more NORMAL than weight.

It shouldn't matter. As long as there are women growing to large sizes, we should all be happy.

I somewhat agree with the whole debate about WG and Muscle and Inflation, maybe cuz of etymological reasons (sp?), or because in my native language when we say inflate, we mean blow air, but I dont really go as far as to say where something belongs or doesnt, or a "get outta here" attitude. I do get bothered because I remember a few years back, whenever there were updates here, there were about what I liked, now its sort of branching out to other types of expansion. I dislike it cuz I dont like it, so it my problem and I shouldnt be getting mad at others. They have a right to have this little haven to talk out their deviousness.

So, Im bothered because the updates, and more people coming in not liking things how I do is a little discouraging, people having lots of tastes and feeling you cant relate, but like I said, thats my problem, and thats bound to happen to a person, right? All in all, I feel comfortable around any transformation crowd...all but TG. Im very sorry for those into it, I just dont feel comfortable in one of its forums, lol.
