Kitana was given her body inflation fatality back in Deadly Alliance, although I really didn't care for how it looked, and from what I've read it's also in MK: Shaolin Monks. Sonya's in Shaolin Monks but there's no possible way to fight against her using Kitana. So chances are she'll keep it in this new one.

I played Shaolin Monks for hours looking to see the fatality. Of course, the game was great too. Who does she do the fatality on?

I liked it in Deadly Alliance. Of course, the old one still has a ppeal, but I liked how...dare I say it...cruel the new one was. It was so Mortal Kombat, lol. And the shape was good too. Havent seen it with every character yet. Only rented it once. lol

Kabal was in MK: Deception, without his head inflation move unfortunately. He's definitely going to appear in this game (EVERY character from the series is supposed to, apparently) but I dunno if they'll give him his head inflation move back this time either.

If Kitana doesn't have her kiss of doom though, that'd just be kinda weird. Next to fan decapitation (which is kinda boring, really) that's her signature...

I'm looking forward to seeing how the inflatality will look in Shaolin Monks...I didn't much like the sort of shapeless inflation in Deception myself, or whatever it was. Moreover, though, I also want to see if Kano makes a comeback. He's through-and-through badass.

yea I also wasnt too big on Kitana's kiss of death move in deadly allinance becuz it did feel kinda too "shapeless" to me as well. I did enjoy the balloon inflating sound effects of it tho lol.

Im sure Kitana will have her kiss of doom fatality in armageddon, if not, then maybe you can just make one with the create a characters create a fatality thing, or even better- a self inflicting kiss of death Hara-Kiri!!!!!

I doubt the create a fatality would be that deep, but who knows. Look at what Will Wright is doing with Spore!

I liked the DA fatality. I like that parade balloon shape.

Those of you looking for the Inflatality in Shaolin Monks will be SEVERELY disappointed. There's no inflation at all. The victim just starts freaking out like they're doing the robot, and then they just explode into body parts. Unfortunate.

Man, they just don't want to stay consistent with her fatality. Eh, well it's not like it's been the same in her other appearances after MK 2.

Well..Mortal Kombat Armageddon is out and should be in most stores and rental places by now..so if anyone has picked up or rented the game..can anyone tell me if Kitana has her old Kiss of Death Fatality in it or not?

No unique character fatalities at all in MK:Armageddon, sorry.

They have this new feature called "Fatality combos" where you kill the opponents in multiple ways (like ripping their skull out, pulling their arm out and beating them, and etc.) with a push of a button (I think).

I remember watching a youtube video where someone posted all kinds of fatality moves from one MK game. It included almost every kind of transformation fatality I can imagine, from growth to shrinking to age regression.
Has anyone else seen this?

I was renting today, the game was reanted out. So I just got Farcry Predator for my 360...

I wont come back to this thread. I want to be excited, suprprised, or horribly dissapointed by myself lol I dont want you guys to apoil the Kitana fatality, whatever it may be.

I do hope all you can do is beat em up and take out body parts. Oh, the dissapointment if there is no inflation :( But, like I did with Deadly Alliance, Im gonna play it to death and find out.

This has been a real hot button topic at the MKOnline forums, not just for Kitana, but for all of the characters' signature fatalities.
It's either no, they're not in it, or yes, they're in it, but they're very, very well hidden.
So, who knows?

PS The game is decent on its own, though. Not perfect, mind you, but still worth buying if you're an MK fan.

what!?!?! how can remove the characters unique fatailties!? Thats like the icon staple of the series!! what the hell were they thinking...ah well perhaps they in fact hidden quite well....

I just played it, and was disappointed. I thought the Konquest was gonna be something more robust. At least the story is not bad at all.

I dont even know how to do these universal combo fatalities. And the controls seem unresponsive. A guy kicked my ass online, I dont know how he was doing all those combos... If its the end, then let it be the end. The guy that made it had a great idea back in the 90s, but I think he cant compete with the market now.

And many of the characters are not returning for the next game. (Or at least won't be returning for a while, because let's face it, it's video gaming.) Thats good, cuz the story stopped making sense a few games ago. Like in MKA, there's a rift in the realms because the warriors's battle? Ok...pretty crappy god-work in those realms.

And the MK universe just isnt presented with the grittiness it once had. It has become a little cartoonish. Although I liked Shaolin Monks (best MK this century, after DA), even if I hated that intro. Im supposed to believe thats how the first tournament went down? And MKA's. I like Dragon Ball, but mixed with MK? And just by the intro you could tell in the actual gameplay the charcaters wouldnt be all that different from each other, especially in fatalities.

What I meant is that the fights in the CGI movies in the newer games look very Dragon Ball-ish. Which reinforces what i mean by the developers taking a cartoonish approach to the games.

As far as i know, only inflation was in MK2 and MK:DA.

The other versions is:

MK3 and trilogy: After the kiss, opponent starts to stretch upwards and explodes to pieces.

MK4: Inflation, but rather disappointing. After the kiss, opponent starts to float, her upper torso, head and hands inflate a little bit with balloony sound. Then he/she gets to normal size, plays the sound again and explodes. (Can be found from youtube)
