Think Violet enjoyed her inflation in old movie?

I've been wondering this for awhile, but do you think the girl who played the first violet enjoyed her blue berry scene?

The book on the movie said they used an inflatable suit for the first few seconds of her transformation and in one picture while they're filling her up, she has this funny smile on her face.

Uhhh...I doubt it. Itd be funny if she developed a fetish because of it.

I did read the book about the film, as it was troubling when she had to stay inside the suit during lunch break and had to be turned every fifteen minutes to keep the blood flowing. And then the make-up had an effect on her when the blue color started appearing on her skin when she was in school.

But I had a story idea of when she crossed her fingers behind her back after Wonka displayed the Everlasting Gobstoppers, assuming that she would expose the candy to Slugworth. So if she didn't become a blueberry, maybe the blueberry gum revenge can be acted on her if she sells the candy's secret.

I think I remembered reading once that it wasn't a very enjoyable experience for young Denise Nickerson. I couldn't find much on the subject, but I found something vaguely related that I found interesting:

Quote:
Interaction between Violet and Veruca isn't mentioned in the original novel, but in the 1971 version, although it is never directly referred to, it is clear the two girls dislike each other. They push each other, Veruca gets jealous when she thinks Violet has been given more gobstoppers than she has and Violet calls Veruca a "Nit", a "Twit", and in an incorrectly-typed line, a "Twerp", which leads to a punchline in which Grandpa Joe refers to her as "a nitwit". Ironically, Denise Nickerson and Julie Dawn Cole, who played Violet and Veruca respectively, were good friends in real life and both had crushes on Peter Ostrum who played Charlie.

Nothing inflation-related, but something I found interesting nonetheless. Call me a movie buff.

It might be a good thing that she didn't have an inflation fetish. Can you imagine how awkward it would be for a girl with an inflation fetish to be in that scene?

There was a documentary on her done, and she had said she felt very embarrassed and odd in the suit, and didn't like it.

What a shame...
Though it would be very embarrassing if she did like the inflation but didn't understand why she felt that way.

It was probably back in the '60s where Inflation wasn't a big hit maybe? I dunno. ¬3¬
