Which do you like better in a story? A slow inflation where the inflatee feels kind of bloated but doesn't notice the inflation until it really shows or a fast inflation?
I myself like slow inflations better. I think it's amusing and sexy to have a girl talk about tight clothes and feeling bloated, not noticing her belly is getting bigger. It makes it more of a surprise when she finally notices it. What about you guys? Slow or fast?
I've suggested that before, and considering how simple threads tend to be here, we'd be up to our armpits in polls if the Powers That B(.)e(.) insisted.
The pacing of the expansion is rather tied into the creator's intent. Swift inflation suits comedic purposes, and ponderous expansions that lend themselves more to description and phases of reaction are... Well, more appealing to those that view it as sexual, really.
I think slows more my style.
Would you call the Berry Girl inflation slow or fast? I think slow for inflation standards but not quite like *BWOOMP!* fast, prett quick.

Yes, they were kind of sadistic, but then again, I am a little sadistic too.
I like slow inflation, and everything everyone else says and has said is why I like it.
I like to experiment... slow inflation is much easier to describe in writing and you can explore much more of the inflatee's sensations and emotions that way; but I am also partial to the quick 'FWOOMP' inflations, difficult to write an inflation that fast but I've been practising writing faster and faster inflations while trying to keep a level of description. FWOOMPs do make for easy progression drawings though :P.
I prefer it if the slowest inflations still happen over say minutes, so the expansion is visible, but that applies mainly to video, you can skips periods of time in writing and pictures, so long as she can feel herself stretching. As for explosions, I find if a FWOOMPed girl explodes right as she reaches the upper limit of her expansion then the whole episode doesn't last very long so FWOOMPed girls tend not to blow.
Not slow or fast, but medium speed.
I would to second many of the comments posted by others. I prefer the slower-medium speed inflations, that show the inflatee visually blowing up and getting larger. Like Carnatic mentioned, a speed that allows description and sensation to be clearly shown is also a plus.
Also, following the actual inflation curve of a balloon, a little faster at first, then a gradual slow down as they get bigger.
Slow to medium for me. Fast is just too quick. With slow to medium, you can just feel the tension building in the story for the inflatee.
Another thing you can do is start slowly, and for every time she whimpers or moans just turn the knob a little bit higher. lol

A nice slow build gives you time to enjoy it. :)
It depends. I tend to find slow inflation more arousing, and I prefer it when the inflatee feels the same ;)
Fast inflations are more for cuter, cartoonish purposes. A good "FWOOP!" that puffs the victim out into a sphere, including her cheeks, is much cuter to me, but still tends to be a little arousing anyway.
Keep in mind that I spend most of my time online, so I'm a bit of a pervert by my nature anyway :)
Something I find to be a plus is when the time that has lapsed since the hose was jammed into her mouth is mentioned. It gives me a sense of her having to feel that pressure, and having to inflate to massive proportions over all the minutes shes been hooked to the tank.
I like the slow for the most part. The inflatee squirms a little more and descriptions can be long and drawn out. I got to say faster is better for a surprised reaction. Nothing more surprising than spreading out twenty feet in one second flat.
Slow is generally best, but fast certianly has its moments. I want to write a story someday focusing on the difficulties of being inflated, ( Doorways, partial nudity, walking about, ect) And a fast inflation would be best suited for this.
All depends on what your focus is.
I'd go with slow inflation. Btw, you should have a poll for this kind of topic, makes it easier to see what kind of results people like better. :3
