I seem to remember a site with an "inflation scenes" area mentioning a scene involving inflation by decompression in an Episode of the Tomorrow People. Anyone know of this episode?
Tomorrow People inflation scene
Actually...the show has been released on DVD. You can pick up the entire series for just over $100 on Amazon. Though I doubt one scene would make the entire series worth buying (though it's possible the series is worth watching...I'm not too interested myself).
Don't get your hopes up, people. I obtained the episode from a... source awhile back. I can tell you right now that the girl does not actually inflate. She just moves her arms and makes a face to look like the decompression is pulling on her. You only see her face and her shoulders through a window, anyway.
In other words, it's not really interesting at all... at least, as an 'inflation', anyway.
Wasnt this the one with someone who built a machine to inflate objects and one of the female characters is used as test subject? I never saw, just remember reading something like this a long time ago.
well i've never heard of it, although you say its not actually inflation i'm still interested in seeing it.
I was obsessed with this scene as a kid and I recently Torrented the episode. Much ado about nothing. But I'm amazed someone else remembers it!
Ah rats. Oh well, thanks for the info guys.
Is the episode 'The Medusa Strain' episode two?
what the heck is the Tomarrow People?
Heh, An "old" (about 10 or so years) show that was a british show, and was then picked up by Nickeloden. Basicaly, If i remember right, ag roup of kids found an alien spaceship, which gave them mental powers, teleportation and i think maybe some other powers. I seem to recall it being cool, but i was 8 or so at the time, so i dunno how well the show's aged :)
Yes, it's the Medusa Strain. I just had to wipe my HD and reinstall Windows or else I could share it. :/
I read about it it was this site I think that had that page with inflation scenes, but it's been well known in the community for year and years without anyone turning it up so I think we have to accept that it just isn't out there... the programme in question was a small, low budget kids show that I've never heard of so theres a chance they never put it on VHS or re-aired it.
