need pseudo mpreg ideas

After finding a fanfic which pokes fun of the mpreg (pregnant male character) genre, I've got the idea *plot bunny* of writing a fanfic which features a cute guy getting "preggy".

The idea is that he gets infected by a strange disease (from a strain of germ which comes from a paticular kind of flower), and his illness has symptoms which looks like a realistic, but permanent, full-term pregnancy (like herpes, it can't be cured).

Of course, once he gets initially infected, there's a bodily reaction which results in a rapid belly inflation.

Where I'm getting at is that I'll need some ideas to keep the story going for a couple of chapters. Preferably plot ideas which involves symptoms of the guy's preggy state (e.g. strange food cravings, bellybutton showing out).

EDIT: btw, I'll write the story in a hurt/comfort style.

Yeah,protruding belly buttons on big ol bellies!Sounds like a great idea.
Did anyone see the episode of "Enterprise",where one of the crew had sex with a female of another species and he got impregnated by her?
I've only seen the beginning and I keep missing how he develops.
Anyway,is your character in the beginning a guy who is down on pregnant women or maybe he got a girl pregnant and didn't take responsibility and rejected her.
A ironic justice thing or no?

Well, the hero gets infected by this special disease by result of his own stupidity (as in he's sort of a dumb hero): he touched a strange wild plant without knowing what it is; a bit like poison ivy, but the "fake" realistic pregnancy is caused by germs (not allergic reaction).

Most of the dynamics in the story was about him trying to cope his new state with his current lifestyle.

I did had the idea of using some yaoi/shonen-ai into it: two of the hero's boyfriends are charmed by his new look, and they each decide to comfort their friend in need... Until the two friends noticed this. Jealousy sets in, and they compete against each other, trying to prove who's the best at comforting the hero. Finally, it ends with yaoi sex which results the two hero's friends being infected with his preggy disease. :lol:

I just have to say at this point,I guess there'd have to be a special XXX spot for folks who like male genital inflation.
Any thoughts?Or any Fans of such?
I think of it as comparable to female breast,bottom,etc.inflation.
I mean, why can't you swell some male sex parts right along with their bellies.
Kinda like erections gone wild.
Some ideas I had;Some VERY extreme prostate enlargement blowing up the belly due to superstrong hormones,OR Experimental penis growth drug,OR Fertility experiment on men,causing a pronounced enlargement in the,uuh..scrotal zone.
That's not kinda interesting?

I'll have to admit to that. The idea of it has always sparked my attention, and I have draw numerous sketches involving an inflating penis. :oops:

Not only do I draw female characters inflated but I also draw male inflation for the women and the men out there.

Gee,I.G.Yasuko,I've been trying to come up with some other ideas that I haven't heard or seen before; your thoughts have been the freshest view I have come across.
It is a hard scenario to think of fresh perspectives for.
Being a pseudo preg.,it is more difficult to think of variations.

Yea... finding the freshest view can be a tough thing to do. For me, I draw merfolk much like seahorses, as in the fact the men get pregnant and not the women. I like my take on it, plus I love seahorses.
