Yeah, Photoshop is great to use for 2-d works.
3-d, not sure. Right now, I learning 3ds Max, since I'm learning it in school. I haven't used any other programs though.
Hey,I am gathering suggestions on what would be a good moderately priced software package for 3d graphics/animation.
If you have any thoughts on 2d graphics software, let me know also.
I want something that I can enter the image and then easily change just parts of the image as I make corrections.
Animation S.ware, would be better as I want to do some moving pics.
I will list some S.ware that I have seen so far:
>Manga Studio Debut 3.0
>Eovia Carrera 4 Standard,anim./3d graphics
>Manga Studio Pro and EX Pro
>Poser 6/Shade LE Animation
Any comments would be appreciated,thanks!

Oh,and when I say images,I am going to use my own drawings.Line and ink.
Im just learning basics of some of the stuff thats out there.
Sorry,I should have said that I was aiming at animation work.
So far, the Manga Studio Debut 3,is the cheapest way I have seen to do some of the animation stuff.
Until I can get better, then I will invest in something more complicated.
I was just hoping that somebody may have been dabbling with these programs.
Cinema 4D is what I use for 3D modelling... it has all the tools I need and specialises in animating it... I don't know about the price, but I don't obtain my software legally, so price is no conern of mine.
Alrighty
I would suggest DAZ Studio.
I do not think that Ive seen that.
I havent been looking around for awhile.
Is DAZ what its actual name is or is that short for something? Thanks.
Photoshop is the best for any form of 2-D manipulations.
A nice cheap 3-D program is TrueSpace, but makin' humanoid figures and moving them is very hard. Poser works best for that, but it's been used so much that it's overdone.
