Hmm...There's always the standard Blue, heh, but that's done a bit for inflation :) I would say it'd have to match the charaters personality. For instance, if she's dark, the costume's darker, more outgoing, maybe a more revealing costume, that kinda thing.
For a new superheroine costume.
As said in the title, i have in minde of doing a superherione comic very soon in a very realistic style of drawing, since i just started with this project, i have skeches, but no colours, and i cannot make up my mind.
so what do you think, what would be the best colour for an inflation related superheroine?
i ll be posting a drawing soon, for you to see what she actually looks like.
PS: i already see it coming, please, no questions about what s gonna happen, or her powers and abilities...:)

I kind of like the idea of a black costume, with silver decal and trim.
At least, thats what I used.

I guess the colours depend greatly on the character, her background and as said above; personality... In the end you'll have to make a decision of your own anyway hopefully the communities ideas will help.

Yeah... personality does matter to the costume.
If she's evil or dark, a dark color like a purple, dark red, or black with silver trim. Maybe add a few spikes and jagged shoulder pieces.
For a more spunky heroine, a pink, green, and aqua will do. Fluff in the costume will help, such as ribbons and other loose articles.
The aggressive heroine might wear red and orange, and will probably have a more revealing outfit.
And more pure, goodly heroines, go with white with gold trimming.
Those are my ideas about the costume. ^_^;

for now, the personality would be quite neutral, but still a slight envy for revenge, the image will be up soon anyway, even though ideas are pretty interesting.

I'd say golden yellow as a base color, with black parts. I'll post more as soon as more ideas come in my mind!

Whatever colors you use, if it's a full-body suit, I suggest a darker color for the torso and a lighter one for the arms and legs, to make it look like a leotard.

Why not try something a little more unusual and make her outfit greyscale?
Well, the heroine in my inflation universes has a red, white and gold suit. I think red and gold are good expansion colors, by themselves or combined.
