I have been looking for this story ever since I read about it in an inflation site that listed inflation scenes on the media!!!
Well, I havent been looking for it, but if my 15 year old me found it, he would have been super very excited, mostly because he was fairly new to finding inflation outside his mind :)
It is however the E.C. comics story which Id LOVE to find.

Agreed. Good luck though, the company was literally mauled during the "Comics make kids" violent perioed of thinking.

I've had JPGs of the original pages from Heavy Metal Magazine for several years. I tracked it down in a used bin when I lived in NYC. It was damaged but those pages were intact. I think I still have the issue; if I get my scanner repaired/replaced I'll make a fresh PDF if anyone would like it. But the text of the story is all right there, save for a few typos.
I can upload the JPGs here if LV's okay with it.
