As for me, I like other aspects of that story:
1) Victim being deflated.
2) Inflatability spreading like disease :D. Army of inflatable vampires conquering the world - its awesome.

You've certainly got a point there. I should really try writing a story about her. I just need to come up with a decent plot.
Interesting. Aside from the furries, this is almost identical to an idea I had a few years back - basically a female vampire who fed on the breath of her victims, rather than their blood, causing her body to gradually inflate as she fed.
It seemed like a fairly original idea at the time, but it looks like somebody else already beat me to it.
