The Unlikely Event

A strange, retorical question posted by yours truely. Maybe I have a little too much free time on my hands. Here goes...

Would you be willing to be locked in an underground chamber for one year if it meant spending that time trapped with the man or woman of your dreams and they happened to be inflated like a balloon? You could choose their size and shape and whatever they may fill up with. Food and drink would not be an issue, and you could bring anything you wanted into the chamber (no limit) whether it be practical or enertaining, but here's the catch.
You would be isolated from any other human contact over the course of the year. Phone and internet would not be available. The only company would be that of your inflated companion. But after that, the two of you would be free to return to the outside world.

Would you accept the challenge?

Sure, why not? I've got plenty of years ahead of me. It'd be an interesting experience to say the least.

Though it's been stated that you could choose the person (I'd say that would be critical), would you be able to inflate them further during the period of that years?

Its a fun thought, but I enjoy to many other things to really spend a year in one place, with no phone or internet.

Shame, because I'm sure the inflating part would be fun...

Boy, I sure could do a lot of drawings done in that amount of time without the internet as a distraction. Not only that, but, I would have a figure to work off of.

So many inflation drawings lack flow/life, they are just a girl standing around with a hose stuck somewhere and large whatevers.

I think the gist of the original post is "how important is inflation to you? What is its priority?" Consider some of the other compromises or risks that have been taken in history, like the explorers of old, or the barnstormers who flew to the moon. The potential gains of those ventures far outweighed (at least for those individuals) the sacrifices and potential danger of the undertaking. Isolating oneself for a year with someone else (also willing, or a prisoner?) for personal gratification sounds too juvenile to me.

Inflation should be shared!

For me, the problem is that i want inflation to be progressive and fairly rapid. A year is too long for that reason, not because of priorities. I think i would have other things to do which were more important. However, i might go for a year isolated underground if it ended in inflation.

Id go for it. Internet is too big a distraction, I could get a couple of things done, PLUS, my companion is inflatable :) That'd be fun. i'd volunteer for the experiment.

Basically, Id do anything to spend a year in isolation with the girl I have in mind :twisted:

So long as my companion enjoyed the experience as much as I did, I'd definitely be willing to give it a try. Without the internet to distract me, I'd be able to get an insane amount of writing done. That, coupled with having the inflated girl of my dreams as company, would make the whole experience very worthwhile indeed.

It's kind of like joining the Peace Corps, or becoming a missionary. Reduced access to technology such as the Internet, generally lower standard of living, etc. The only difference would be only being able to interact with ONE person.

Could you deflate and inflate the girl to your liking?

Very well then. Let's say you could inflate and deflate your companion whenever you pleased. It's up to you. Would that make your decision easier?

What if your companion was only inflatable during the year in the chamber. Would you still accept such a rare event? What if your companion stayed inflatable after leaving the chamber? Would that in itself be enough to have you accept?

BONUS QUESTION: Let's say, the chamber stays locked upon entering and the only way to get out would be to inflate your companion to immense sizes and bust open the chamber from the inside out. I can only imagine, things would get cramped for the both of you once he/she filled up the place. Would you enter the chamber anyway?

I would definately go in the chamber with the girl of my dreams just as long as I can still keep my job. I would also love to blow my girl up to be a giant in order to escape. The bigger the better! :D

You guys will no doubt consider me a pervert and freak :D, still IMHO week of such an entertainment would be completely enough to be bored and hate thought of inflation.
