Bandwidth may be an issue. Video is popular but it does take up a lot of bandwidth to host it, even if the video files themselves are small. Consider how many people click play on each YouTube vid...it gets crazy expensive to do something like that on your own pretty fast!

Also, there is the Video Vault over at ExpansionMansion.com. Lots of content there already, so we probably don't need one here.

No, I'm not quite that judgmental.

YouTube has a content policy. If your stuff doesn't meet the content policy guidelines, it's removed. That doesn't make them xenophobic or moronic. It makes you look immature and ignorant of how the world works.

The thing about YouTube is that each person chooses how much they want to share. If you don't want attention, don't upload videos. I'm very sorry they mocked you, and I like your vids, but if you put yourself out there, it should be obvious that you can never control the reactions. The world watches YouTube. If you don't want to be seen by the world, don't post content there.

I do not mean by the developers, the definition "run by" that I was looking toward is the reviewers and the people who makes the comments, not the decision which to remove or not.

I'm sorry that you didn't want this kind of exposure, but it was a little naive not to take precautions to hide your face if you didn't want people to see you. If it's any consolation, the female host has a serious phobia of balloons popping and freaked out when one of her gloves burst right by her face. They've tortured her with balloons popping in several episodes, which I'm sure some balloon fetishists out there are using the clips as porn. :)

What's really bizarre to me is that I had considered raising this very topic the week before that G4 episode aired. The question I was going to ask in this forum was this: Are those of you who post videos on sites like Youtube prepared for the attention you'd get if your video happened to go "viral" or if it got featured on one of these types of TV shows.

I was thinking more along the lines of people like Bambi and M Taylor, who are actively promoting their fetish content to get more visitors to their sites. I figured for that reason they have the best chance of going viral, but as this incident proves, it could happen to anyone. Is anyone else who has posted videos prepared for this type of fame? In addition to airing your video to a large audience, would you allow yourself to be interviewed if someone asked you?

Hey - just saw the post - you know - the producer of that show just emailed me today to ask if I could provide them with an inflatable catsuit to demonstrate, live, on the G4 network show called WTF (for those of you who don't know, it means what the fuck).

I couldn't provide them with a suit - as they want it TOMORROW, but was notified they would be using some of our Youtube videos, which I didn't have a problem with.

I know the aim of the show will not be to actually explain to the world about the fetish - it will be to make fun of it - but - well - fine. Comedy is comedy, I guess. We will see how it goes.

What i'm about to suggest would probably be very wrong, but it's also very tempting.

The female presenter has a fear of balloons popping. There are people behind the scenes who are more responsible for it than she is, i'm sure, and i myself have a bizarre phobia as well as a bizarre fetish, so i know how nasty this is.

However, wouldn't it be tempting to make some kind of video, art or story where she is inflated and popped?

I know, i'm a bad, bad person for thinking that.

Not bad, but it is tempting. But we have our own ways of respect for others (I criticize and aimlessly make fun of people to show my respects.) The female presenter is Olivia Munn; her name was called out daily in everyday showtime of AOTS. She does have that phobia and so do I (nearly gone deaf by a big balloon pop when little bro shoved it at my face during his tantrum.) So it is best that she was left out, ya never know if she was going through the net and come by here and You[Tube]. Remember, she has fans who are probably willing to flame us wildly.

Inflation Morphing a lass for revenge is kinda overdoing it. Olivia Munn and the others got their opinions, we got ours. Let us not go over board with it and cause a flame war with the fans. I'm not a fan of Olivia but I do have a gentleman side of me. Besides, they called us "weird", we should consider it as a compliment and actually might get a brave representative invited for an explanation.

I have the same thing. Though I don't anyone ever noticed the links. Try not to watch the inflation videos when you are logged into your normal account. I sometimes use another browser which seems to fool it.

Though I feel that they're milking it already... Sure there's a lot of people who will be asking WTF? and expecting more strangeness at our expense, but it just seems like exploitation.

And, hooray! They missed my YouTube channel again. With any luck it's because I made sure the videos were NOT to be broadcast on anything other than YouTube, but I guess it's only a matter of time before they rip the videos or show the channel in their next 'clip-mix'. 0_o;

I'm still going to stand strong and leave everything right where it is though.

Actually, I've watched AOTS for while now, and I think Kevin might actually be into inflation.

I'm not sure if it's just that the link is bad or what, but G4 seems to have removed the clip from their website, so there's that. It's strange, considering that like four years ago they did another examination of YouTube's latex inflation community in a non-condemnatory manner.

Edit: Scratch everything I just said. Had no idea this thread was from 2008. Probably just wasn't looking in the right place / the site has changed their format.
