Stop worrying what other people think.

Yes, it's damn weird what we're into.
No, it's not 'normal'.

Just enjoy what you enjoy. If what other people say or think about you bothers you so much, seek professional help. If you're really happy, it shouldn't matter what other people think.

Sorry I'm being so blunt, but I can't stand whiners. This is not normal, but I enjoy it.

It'll never be accepted, just like bestiality will never be accepted.

It's f@#$in weird. But that's why I like it :-)

It makes me feel special sometimes, weird and an outsider at others.

There are reasons to be concerned. One is that if someone like an employer finds this out, and is prejudiced, it could be bad. The other is that because it's so rare, either it has to be forever a "hobby" and never something you explore with sexual partners, or you have the problem of finding someone who is also into it, but who may be otherwise completely incompatible. I think that's a problem, but then i tend to be quite negative.

Im not ashamed of it infact if God himself said to me "Hey typewriter do you want me to get rid of that for you?" I would say no but I am ashamed of what others might think.

Wow...funny story that relates to this post. Im 30 and tonight I told my own mother about my fetish. I was on an honesty binge, lol.

LittlePumpkin

Your own mother? Wow, my parents would be the last to know it.

Same here. I wouldn't trade inflation for the world. ^^

Never in a million years can you compare this to bestiality. There are no "imaginary inflatable women rights",. you know? Animal rights exist though.

Hooray! Somebody finally said it.
*tips hat to BloatMachine*

I too feel that I need not worry, I mean what is there to worry about? Sure the employer thing is and could be bad... but really, that's their problem for being stuck-up and unexceptionally normal. There are plenty of other jobs in the world.

Korg, I'm impressed. Really impressed. ^_^
I'm even considering going down that road now, not with my mother but with my father.
He already pushes for me to draw more inflation themed pictures and has suggested that I sell them, put them on t-shirts, etc.
Though he doesn't yet know of the YouTUBE channel. ^_-

Why worry at all? Screw prejudices and other peoples ignorant opinions and comments.
I'm going to enjoy inflation in all aspects for as long as I have this interest, until I pass away... And that'll be a long, long, long while yet. ^_^

Korg...wow, you are braver than I would be. Respect! I'm open with my wife, but my mom? No way am I telling her. How on earth did that conversation come about, and how did she take it? What's more...how much detail did you offer?

hmmmm...I haven't told other people of my fetish...but I get the feeling they're aware of it in someway (artwork and joking aroudn with it)

Well, the conversation started with me informing her & the rest of my adult family (mom, dad, step mom, step dad) that my new wife and I are poly-amorous. So I pretty much laid the whole thing on the line for them about that part. Then later on that evening my mom and I were in the kitchen working on dinner together and she asked me some questions about that whole thing and the conversation lead to the subject of sex etc. And I asked her if she recalled a time when I was 14 and made heavy use of her old electric type writer and then told her what it was I had been writing. She then asked to read an example so I showed her Mona, my first ever inflation/weight gain story. Simply put, she found it funny, like a well written gag type scene from a movie. She asked quite a number of questions about the whole thing and I answered then honestly. I guess you have to have the right relationship with your mother to be this honest. Since I became and adult (which is still in question, lol) I have never felt the need to lie or hide anything from her. And she has always accepted me as I am. As for the second question Inflate, I'd have to say that not one detail of my specific inflation fantasy got left out.

darth_clone19,
I agree, this fetish is VERY weird, that I would never contest. But it is pure fantasy...it CANNOT happen in real life, at least not the way most of us write our stories or draw our art etc. (Note: Yes, I concede that one can stick an air/water hose up their butt and inflate their stomach...but that is a totally separate fetish people.) But comparing inflation to the virtual rape of barn yard animals, live stock, & house hold pets is just insane. We of the inflation community are only truly guilty of the non-consensual popping of (most likely) thousands of balloons! And to date I have never heard of the Organization To Stop Balloon Killing or the like!

I for one would love it if all of us, male & female, in the inflation community would come out of their shells and stop hiding. Mostly because my new wife and I would like to meet & date a female who shares this fetish (and hopefully my particular fantasy). So, to the ladies of the community, if you have the inclination please contact me!

Ok, wow...tangent. Sorry!

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

I would never tell my family, I don't see the point in them knowing. It wouldn't really accomplish anything, to each his/her own. Same thing with telling friends or people I hang out with, if I'm not dating them then what's the point of them knowing? If they have a fetish then they would already know about it, it's not like by me telling them all of a sudden they're going to be interested in the inflation fetish. And the consequences could be disastrous for me, like losing a job, and its already hard enough as it is to find one around here.
I have no problem if other people want to tell everyone about their fetish, for me though the risk outweighs the benefit.
(And Korg, I think just about every guy on here is looking for a female that shares their fetish...)

In all honesty I'm not concerned about people finding out I have inflation fetish.

I'm just afraid that if they find out that I have a thing for blueberry inflation as well, they'll associate that directly with, y'know, the movies, and assume that I'm also a pedophile. :\

I think they just think you are just weird. ;)
Unless they know about the existence of this fetish.

I may have been open, but I was shy in real life. So it might take sometime to get me to open up to the public. If I have the guts, I would. I'm thinking of making my stories public view to challenge the readers to drop their xenophobia and enjoy the curious fantasy.
