Hangers-on?

What's your opinion on inflation floatation in which another, uninflated person is hanging on for the ride? I've been a general fan for a while, but a recent story by HeliumGirl in the FloatsYourBoat Yahoo group particularly piqued my interest. I have one example pic here; does anyone know of any other pics or stories featuring this sort of trope?

I tried downloading the file but nothing happens. When I enter the code and click download, the page just refreshes itself.

I think I want to make a drawing of this idea. :D

Hmm, did you type in the CAPTCHA properly? I think if you don't the page just refreshes.

I like it too, but the sort of situation I had in mind was the uninflated person holding on to the inflated person's body, and neither of them being in control of the floatation.

Sorry to bump my own thread, but I just remembered what probably inspired my love for this particular type of floatation.

There was this old Saturday morning cartoon called Bonkers, about a cat who was an (inept) police officer, and for part of the run his partner was a cute blond woman named Miranda. In one episode, Bonkers catches a disease which messes him up in all sorts of ways. At one point, he gets such a severe case of hiccups that he inflates and floats away, with Miranda holding on for dear life. Then he suddenly deflates, and Miranda has to make him hiccup again so they don't fall to their deaths.

The best I could find of the scene on YouTube is this video, but it lacks the crucial "falling, reinflating and bouncing" part. If anyone could find the entire scene, I'd be really grateful.

I remember that cartoon and episode! I think that also helped get me into the inflation with floating.

Dexy

I saw Willy Wonka when it first came out in 1971 (I was in first grade) and after that, I always (and still do!) imagine how every pretty girl I know would look inflated.

The thing is, despite the fact that Violet "filled with juice" in my young impressionable mind, I always thought of it as an inflatable suit (which it was) and imagined the girls I knew wearing it. The fantasy almost always ended with them floating up to the sky at recess, and me grabbing onto their foot or whatever and hanging on for dear life! So yeah, I can relate!
