Other Wonka inflations

Interestingly enough, I've thought the same thing for years. As far a Verucca goes, she actually makes the MOST sense to be inflated. She is singing "I want it all" so Wonka's response could have been "OK, here's all the candy in the world" and she could have ate and ate and ate until she was huge... greed as gluttony, the perfect punishment for a spoiled little brat!

Better than what I thought of, her being a *bad egg* would make her massively pregnant with said egg and she would blow up huge to make the most eggs.

This helps no one, of course.

When it comes to brainstorming ideas, you should completely share or you should completely shush.

I've always thought of the different ways myself, an interesting thought of what ifs. Of course I have my preferences that some don't always agree with, the inflatee always is a woman for me and there usually involves popping.

I've thought of maybe a full bodied woman getting stuck in the chocolate pipe closer to ground level with everybody gathered around. Some of the same dialog like watch what the pressure will do but instead of shooting up the pipe it has a rather more explosive ending. But it can change depending on preferences.

I've also thought of the many different ways violet could have inflated. One that comes to mind is the gum stops on the tomato soup and she turns into a giant tomato. Perhaps there is a big glass of milk with here meal and that's the liquid of choice. Or for any WG fans the gum might just make the body take in too much and she just turns into a ball of flesh.

Veruca I think could turn into a number of things. When she licks the wall whatever fruit she was licking could make her expand in the hallway. Or it's a little more outside the box, and I don't think i've seen it before......she gets judged as a bad egg at the end of the scene, well what if she turned into a giant egg? I don't know how you would go about describing the inflation but I think it would be interesting if she grew a thin shell adding to the suspense(just like needing violet needing a juicing) and she is shaped like an egg with only her face partially sticking out of the top front.

In the shrinking room(girl character for me) the character gets transported to this tv like the chocolate bar. Well when he/she gets transported there happens to be a glass of water that belongs to a worker. He/she gets fused with the water and when they end up in the t.v. there body starts producing large amounts of water filling them up like a water balloon, but the question is their enough room for the whole glass of water at their size?

And finally for the main character of Charlie, or Charlotte in my mind. :) This could be the part where they drink the fizzy drinks and just inflate with air, also at the top the whirling fans bring on a new meaning. Or another option could be that the grand prize isn't taking over the company but becoming part of it. This is where I think of a dark ending involving a good pop(a cleaner version could easily be adapted) where he/she is told that the contract they signed involved them being involved in a limited edition one time cream filling for a new candy bar as the winner. Wonka takes them to a new room and offers he/she a taste of the cream he's been testing. As they begin to inflate he/she realizes that they didn't taste the final product, they were going to become the finished product as the floor reveals a big drain.

Maybe they are all not that great, but it doesn't hurt for more ideas to be thrown out. Unless they do............:)
