Hey guys, Kinky King Latex, always had good videos when it came to like blueberry costumes and things like that, but I noticed in the latest videos they have done, they never went to full size with the suits, had anyone purchased one of these, that can post a picture of one at full size?
Thanks
Kinky King Latex
OK, that's pretty impressive!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not ordinarily one to suggest destroying things just for fun, but have you ever thought of doing a video where you test an inflatable by inflating it to see exactly how big it will get before it fails or explodes? I'd be curious to see it. Could give you valuable data on weak points and areas to reinforce, especially if you want to design a larger suit or a suit with multiple inflating parts. Love the pregnancy catsuit, it looks cool. How does it feel to wear and how big can you get the belly portion? Have you thought of adding an inflatable breast section, either a single "tube top" shelf structure or two breasts that inflate separately? By the way, the super large inflatable catsuit I purchased is great!!! Keep up the good work!
Ritties
Hi Ritties - yes - have thought about it but it would be quite an expensive proposition. You are more than welcome to try though.
The pregnancy suit feels like you are pregnant... surprisingly. It just makes you wan t to hold your belly and rub it like the guy is doing in the videos.
As for breasts - yes - we are actually working on a pregnancy shirt with breasts, for those who don't want to have to wear a whole suit just to get the 8 months pregnant feeling.
Glad you are enjoying your suit!
Brian
Here is my experience with Kinky King so far:
3/1 to 3/19 - Exchanged several emails with Brian discussing a design idea I had while working up the nerve to drop what is pretty serious dough for me on a purchase.
3/20 - Paid for order and asked one last question about the design.
3/22 - Got a response.
4/24 - Asked how things were going and he said no problem they'd email if there were any questions.
5/8 to 5/11 - I got an email that they would soon begin construction on the suit as they had to wait for their best people since it's a custom design. I asked approximately how long. Brian said hopefully by the end of the month as it would take one person several days to complete. I said I might order another if things go well. He was happy to hear it.
5/18 & 5/19 - I asked about a video that a disgruntled customer posted on Youtube and he explained that the customer was being unreasonable, which it seemed so from the details he described. We exchanged a couple emails about it. The video was removed soon afterward.
6/4 - I asked how my suit is coming along since the last indication on 5/9 was that it would take one person several days to complete.
6/6 - I got a response that the first set of March suits were shipping that week and the rest would be shipped by the upcoming weekend. I waited and never got a tracking number, which made me nervous since the site indicates they give tracking numbers when they ship.
6/15 - I asked for a tracking number and got no response.
6/17 - I sent another email expressing concern. I'd like to make sure I'm home when the suit ships so the delivery person doesn't leave it on the doorstep in this summer heat.
6/19 - Brian said he will check on the status with his workshop the following morning.
6/22 - I hadn't gotten a response. I sent an email expressing my concerns about the shipping again, as now I'm thinking maybe the package got lost or something.
6/24 - Still no response, so I sent two emails expressing concern at not having received a response, and also sent one from their web form in case my messages might be getting caught in their spam filter. I checked my own spam filter and there are no messages from them there.
6/25 - I'm still waiting on a response.
I don't like posting this kind of thing publicly but I wanted to give an honest and complete account of my experience and ask what people think I should do. Am I being unreasonable to expect a response by now? Does anybody know if Brian went on vacation or is in the hospital or something? I'd been complaining about puncturegown not responding to emails and it turned out some thugs beat the crap out of her and put her in the hospital, so I felt like an ass for that. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and I hope there is a reasonable explanation for why I haven't received my purchase yet and why he is slowly and/or not responding to questions about it.
you know what I think Kinky King should do? they should take a pretty big suit. Take a cute looking girl and put her in the suit and then over the suit put some old clothes or something over and inflate her so the clothes kind of conceal the suit and then rip.
Wren, I would check if there were any other people on the forum that ordered a suit from them in the past month. Then you could check if Brian was around if he responded to them or how long it took to get their order. I know there's some other people on this forum that have ordered suits from KinkyKing.
And I have to ask, thugs beat up puncturegown and put her in the hospital? That's pretty crazy, is it like in serious condition or what?

The Youtube video that got pulled had commented that they take way longer than they said they were going to take. I've heard from another customer who said they ordered two items at the same time but it took 6 months for the first item and 8 months for the other, and several times while they were waiting they were told it was in the mail when it wasn't. I wouldn't feel so bad if the guy had just been honest, but it just doesn't make sense to tell somebody that something is in the mail when it isn't. Both customers said KinkyKing is just a retailer and the suits are actually manufactured in China. I suspect it may be the manufacturer who is giving Brian bad information about when the orders will ship, but if he knows they have a history of that then he shouldn't pass their words on to his customers. Or maybe when he says the suits have shipped, what he really means is that they're coming from China to his office, so that doesn't mean it's actually on its way to your house? These are just speculations based on the information I've been given so far.
About puncturegown, when she was around and posting images on deviantart it was really hard to get responses from her as she said Yahoo was losing her incoming mail. I was getting frustrated with it since I was trying to order something but then on 6/16 her secretary sent an email saying she'd walked into the middle of a store robbery and got beat up by a couple guys and was recovering in the hospital.
Wren,
I was that person whom placed the video up on youtube.
I did so after I was told I was too hard to deal with and I should be happy with what I got.
(Which was not a correct order!!)
However, after the owner cooled down and realized I wasn't too impressed regarding my order. (Youtube video) He apologized and said they would make a replacement suit to my specifications.
I removed the video in good faith and he has promised me the item by the end of this month.
(Fingers crossed, and god help them if they don't deliver on time ;) )
But honestly, The owner is having his products made in China.
Why, because the labor is cheap. We're happy about this as it makes for an affordable item. However, in doing so. It seems allot of the details get lost in translation and the factory seems to make something "Close enough" to the customers order.
I've now seen countless complaints and problems with Kinnky King. However, it falls down to the, "you get what you pay for" problem.
Most complaints are length of time, communication and not quite right orders (IE Valves in the wrong spot, zips in the wrong place, no gloves attached etc etc.)
This is a new venture for the owner, so I'm sure he is learning from these mistakes. I have spoken with him a bit and I know he is upset with his workers whom produce the actual suits. He is also currently trying to make up for those mistakes. (Atleast for me.)
Personally, should this order arrive by the end of the month, I will most likely order from Kinky King again. Should you be after an affordable inflatable rubber suit, they're the cheapest around and you certainly could do worse. (*cough* Darkside Creations)
They're not the best, but you do get what you pay for.
Wren, if you are really that upset. You are entitled to a refund. But at least you know you aren't the only one who has had problems. I'd say ride it out and hope that the order arrives as ordered.
Best of luck, let me know how it goes for you.
Blowup_boy,
Thanks for your reply. I already have low expectations for the actual product, but not because of anything they did. I'm no designer or artist, and I asked them to make something based on extremely rough sketches so it's going to be hard for them to match the image I had in my mind. I also didn't tell them where to put the valve, so if they put it up my ass it's my own fault.
I can understand him using a Chinese manufacturer to keep prices low, and I can understand how that would lead to communication problems. What I can't understand is why they don't just tell that to people up front. And why can't someone spare 30 seconds to send an email saying, "Sorry, I'm still trying to find out the status of your order from the workshop...will let you know asap."
I guess I'll wait til the end of the month like you, but after that point if I haven't heard anything I'll begin to wonder if I'm actually going to get my order at all. I do hope everything works out, as he seemed like a cool guy from his posts here and it would be nice to have a reliable source of affordable inflatables. But in the future I might give up on custom orders.
http://rubbercatsuits.co.uk is another option, and seems to be in the same price range, when adjusted for the exchange rate... Which makes me wonder where their suits are made... I ordered from them once, but it was one of their "Available Now" items. I have no experience with how they do with items that have to be made to order. The shipping was expensive, but DHL delivered within less than 24 hours of shipping! They actually beat me to my house, which gave me a bit of a heart attack as they actually left my order with a neighbor, but I was able to retrieve it.

Err... sorry it was so quick! ;) Our stuff is made in China too (it says so on our site). I have a good relationship with our workshop, and we can usually resolve problems fairly quickly. We get most made to order items out in 6 weeks, though more complex items can take longer. I have had stuff made within 3 weeks before if it was an urgent request.
I've just heard from Kinky King and he explained that he'd been traveling for the past couple weeks and didn't realize his destination country would not have many options for communication. Also, he had some sort of trouble with Gmail. He found out the item actually has not shipped, so it has not gotten lost. It's just taking longer because it's a custom item. I feel a lot better now that I've gotten a response and an explanation. He was very sorry for not being able to respond sooner.
Hi Wren - thanks for clearing it up on here. I'll explain to everyone else too, so no one thinks something bizarre is happening (well, nothing more bizarre than my normal life..)
As you know, I'm American, but live in Beijing, China, to run my workshop. I took a vacation to Laos, for 2 weeks. I knew the net connections were not abundant there, but until I arrived, I really did not know how "non-abundant" they were! I was able to check mail every couple days, but the other reason I had not responded to your several mails, is because Gmail grouped them all together into one mail, and only when I clicked on it finally, did I see the trail of unanswered ones.
If anyone is into hiking, riding motorbikes, rafting, and mosquitoes, Laos is really an excellent choice!
As for blowup_boy's video, we have worked out those problems, privately.
Brian
I'm at 3 months on a suit right now, they told me it would be sent a week ago, no tracking number or response yet.

I've gotten emails from him a couple times since I last posted, both times he said he would like to give me a call on the weekend (last weekend and the weekend before that) but I haven't received one yet. On caller ID all I have is a call from a WCS and a Monumental Life, which is odd because I never get telemarketing calls. The email said he expected the item to be done "shortly." I've sent a lengthy followup email asking what is it about the process that takes so long, are there still any March orders pending before mine, and is there anything he can do to verify the current status of the suit. Making promises and then not keeping them only makes them look bad. If they tell me they haven't even started on the suit, I still wouldn't be happy but I would be less annoyed than I am with the broken promises. I'm not even sure why he wanted to talk to me on the phone since I already agreed with everything he said in the email. Now I've just ended up annoyed again at not having received a call.
I'm approaching the end of my 4th month of waiting. I'm sure the custom design has caused some delay, but I wonder has anyone ordered one of their regular items and gotten it in the 4 to 6 weeks that is indicated on the website?
Well he has 4 days to send my suit by his promised deadline. 2 of those days are weekends. So I have a sneaking suspicion that once again made am empty promise.
I have poked him about it, no response yet.
Video goes straight back up should he not respond to me about it.
*shakes head*
Last night he sent me a tracking number! :D He said the reason it takes so long for the custom orders is it takes a lot of trial and error to get it right. What he's sending me is actually the third version of the suit because the first two weren't right.
I'm kind of wishing I had not done this...I still haven't heard back from these guys.
Figured I may as well give an update. I got my suit and am a little disappointed with it as I had asked for it to be much bigger than the one in the photo I sent, but it's pretty much the same size. But I'm not too upset about that because, as I said, it was difficult to give a good description of what I wanted so my expectations for the suit itself were pretty low.
Due to the lengthy delays and broken promises Brian had offered to give me a partial refund. But it had been so long since my order was processed that my credit card info had been erased, so he asked me to email it to him again. I tried to email it to him but my email bounced back with a message saying that I had been blocked by a spam blocker. That looks suspicious as hell. I hope I've made it clear how much I've tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt so everyone will understand when I say this is the last straw. I'm debating whether to wash my hands of the whole mess or keep trying to get the refund that was offered. I did send him the number through the contact form on his website, since I figured that'd get me around his spam blocker, but I still have no response.
The suit arrived with what looked like a form letter explaining that the products are made in China and offering store credit to make up for not meeting the 4 to 6 week turnaround that is advertised on the site. I had been planning to order one of their stock inflatable items if he made good on the refund. If I were to order the item I was thinking of getting, the store credit would amount to more than the refund that was offered, but I still see the store credit as a bait and switch since that is not what was offered and obligates me to order something in order to collect. I've decided not to order anything more from them and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else, either.
I did get a stock item from Rubbercatsuits.co.uk recently and it is a pretty good suit and the seams look good and everything. It was off the "Available Now" menu so I can't comment on the speed of their made to order items but this one was shipped crazy fast. The prices are about the same as KKL, which is pretty cheap compared to places like Cocoon or Reactor Rubberwear. They get a good review from me.
Thanks for the update. Are you in a position/inclination to share some pics of what you got?
Thanks for the good review Wren. Glad you like it.
Well my deadline for the ball I ordered last year has been and gone.
He never shipped it as he "Misplaced" my address.
Its supposedly finished and I have sent them my address again, but I'm yet to see a tracking number!
Brian if you're reading this.
Send the dam suit already!!!!!!!
Thanks for the update. Are you in a position/inclination to share some pics of what you got?
I'll have to think about it. I'm still very shy about this sort of thing. Ordinarily I wouldn't have even told anyone I was buying anything. I just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else might find the info useful.
That's understandable -- I'm just curious, and I'm glad you shared your experience.
Of course, being shy is no problem in the digital age -- many of us here could help edit your pix to conceal your identity. I did that with my Cocoon B70 suit oh so long ago...and I actually got those developed on film, then scanned them in surreptitiously at work! But the digital version that made the rounds featured a blurred-to-oblivion face.
orr simply used one mask....
