Wow man, I'm honored that you think my stuff is that good! :-D If you don't mind me asking, why'd you like those two stories in particular? Was it the plotlines, the characters, or something else?
New on the Scene
The 'Favorite Story' post had me thinking about some of the newer authors whose work I've wanted to call out for recognition. Not all of them have stories posted here at Luther's site, so you may have to go looking for them. If I've forgotten anyone, I'll edit the post to include them.
Dragon6860: He's been around for a bit but I wanted to mention his "Katrina's Balloons" and "Raising Spirits".
Kurosylph: I like her "Thyme Flies" and "Blowout stories". She is developing a pretty cool narrative.
Pakona: Here's a writer who has been improving greatly with every new story posted. Check out "Heaveny Waters", "Claim to Fame", and "Going Aloft"
Airtankgirl: Good superhero series - really good narrative and creative villains. Her stories read like comic books and are a lot of fun.
Doubleintegral: his "Big Enough for Now" is a fun read.
InflationFantasies: great first entries with "On Air" and "Showtime"
Kreizen: He's come up with a pretty cool villainess character (the "Inflatrix") and has been busy writing a series of neat stories based on her.
Heliumgirl77: Honestly, I think this author is the best in the genre: bubbly - teasing - delightful. Nobody else captures the emotions of this silly little thing like she does. I am convinced she is a well known author posting anonymously, Prince-and-the-Pauper style (which she vehemently denies ;) ). If you are not familiar with her stories, make yourself so.
Rathani: Though Rathani has been out there awhile too, I still wanted to mention her. Her stories are all about character development and are very polished with an epic scope. "City in the Clouds" is the first series of hers I read (and wish she would finish!). "Across the Sea" and "Temple in the Mountain I & II" make for a great saga. Her recent "First to Return" was a great science fiction story with a twist.
What I like about each of these authors is their creativity and the effort they put into actually writing a STORY and not just some words or scenes connected together with punctuation. I like that they don't get very graphic, that their work has a playfullness about it, and that the inflation is nicely integrated into the plots. Each makes an effort to improve with every outing.
EDIT:
I forgot to mention HeliumPongo ! I like his 'Solstice' series/concept so much that I even contributed a few entries of my own.

Who new have you been following and why do you like their work?
Heliumgirl77 takes my breath away. Her stories are lyrical and descriptive with fantastic pacing. Almost a little baroque. She knocks my socks off.
I love the idea that she's someone of import/experience writing undercover -- hard to beat that as a conspiracy theory. :) It would explain things. But if she says no, I'll believe her. Were it true, we'd never know...and I wouldn't want to, because that would mean she'd have to stop!
I await the crossover between Kreizen and Airtankgirl's stories! I think they're fine nemeses.
Dragon - Mostly, I liked the tight plotting and plausible character reactions without the stories taking themselves too seriously. Nothing sours a story (any story) like the tired trope of when characters engage in non-sequitur,illogical behavior in the midst of crisis. In 'Raising Spirits', I like the point at which you jumped into the story and also how you gave it an ending that let the reader ponder the ever after. You didn't belabor the characters' backgrounds, either, and paced the inflation and its description well. Subject-wise, I like how both stories were fun & floaty without being overtly graphic.
Thanks Svens! I always try to add humor into my stories whenever I can :) Cause, lets be honest, it's pretty silly :)

I would agree that I like that element of your work too. It is silly; I think it's fine to embrace it. It doesn't make it any less of a turn-on.
Thanks a lot for the honorable mention Sven. I'm flattered. :D
While Jane (heliumgirl77) is in a league of her own with respect to her talent with words, unfortunately she doesn't do a lot of full body inflation which makes it hard for me to get into her stories sometimes.
Pakona is one of my "newer" favorites.
EmperorNorton (http://emperornorton5.deviantart.com/) is also doing a bang-up job.
Thanks for the tips, double -- hadn't heard of either person yet.
And in case anybody else was wondering: http://pakona.deviantart.com/

Oh - I should have mentioned that. Every author in the list can be found at DeviantArt if they're not here at Luther's.
I wonder, has anyone come across any good blueberry stories lately? Roger64s series has grown to a halt ( he basically ended it) and the rest is generic garbage for the most part. Anyone come across any keepers?
Hey, cool! I'm InflationFantasies - I'm so flattered you like my stories, thank you so much for the mention! Is there anything in particular you like, anything you'd like to see me incorporate in future works?
I still can't believe anyone actually likes my writing - it's such a pleasant surprise. ^_^

Particularly, you have a strong talent (VERY strong) for narrative and excellent pacing in your stories, good sentence structure and grammar, and you actually seem to care about the characters you write about. Subject-wise, I like the kind of inflation your stories feature and how skillfully you build and tease the plot around the concepts in them.
As far as what I'd like to see (this goes for all), just keep writing for yourself about what interests you and always strive for improvement. Take creative chances, learn from your successes and failures, and keep on writing, writing, writing.
(Oh, and maybe a little more floaty )
Now I gotta read IF's.
Okay, now everybody should read IF's! Sweet and romantic and almost chaste. A different style from most, and well written, I thought. Thanks for the recommendation.
Thanks for the recommendation.
You're quite welcome. I had about the same reaction as you.
Aww, now I really am blushing! You guys are just too awesome, thank you so much. ^_^ *attempts to group-hug the entire fandom*
Not much really. I really like reading blueberry inflation stories, but recently they have been all derivative garbage. I want to have my cake and eat it to; I want stories that not only titilate but are actually good stories in their own right.
