I love all the humour you've mixed into these stories. Fantastic stuff.

Thanks. I guess I have never come out and said it, but they are indeed supposed to be comedy takes on fairy tales.

The ratings over on ExpansionStories.com are low out of the gate, and I don't know if it's that there are problems with the story and I simply could have written better (legitimate constructive criticism), or if it's the old internet "if it's about my personal kink it's a 10, otherwise it's a 1" problem. There's a lot of belly and preg fans that comment there, and I wonder if I'm simply getting bad ratings because I'm not writing belly stories.

Inflate123, I've a suspision there's some people that hit stories that get high with 1s or 2s. I had a story that was rated really high, but then, wham, down. Seems like somoene wants to keep all their stories as the top rated...but I'm paranoid like that :)

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith.

I don't think you're paranoid; I've seen that kind of rating stuff happen too. I will follow my own advice and say you should be writing for yourself and not worry if other people validate it; I'm happy with how it came out. But at the same time, I think low ratings means there's a problem with the story that can be fixed or improved, and I want to hear that.

But it could well be something completely different, like you suggest. I had a friend submit pix to TopHeavy last year, and in a simple yes/no vote, her ratings were really high after a few days...and then two days later, the votes had completely flipflopped. Like, nothing but 400 "no" votes were submitted in a 48-hour period, after a week and a half of naturally-evolving positivity? C'mon. I have always kind of suspected foul play, either from other models on the site, the webmaster, or some external force; the math just didn't make sense. So yeah...I have to believe that sometimes, sneaky stuff happens.

True, I write for myself, but it is kinda nice to know that people like it, and i've no problem with people saying, "Your story is bad and you should feel bad!" so long as they say WHY, you know?

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith.
