Ok it's not people inflating but makes for an interesting idea. A webcam is hooked up to a room full of space hoppers, the space hoppers are slowly inflated by people tweeting #pumpt.
Well something gets inflated for you on request very slowly. There are also technicans than tend to the space hoppers and make sure they blow up okay. It's only there for another week or so, so go check in soon:

That would be AWESOME if they were inflatable suits! Like you could control how big people got inflated, or maybe even what part of their body inflated. Also would be interesting because of the loss of control aspect, as random people online would be the ones controlling the inflatees.
Sounds like that really crappy horror movie, who's name I can't recall.
inflate such costumes in a carnival or a party ... make costumes inflate pet and are locked in a cage ... There are many options
