Game release: Space Balloon

Finally, the game is ready to play.

Space Balloon is a game about a woman with an inflated suit who has to avoid touching stars, that causes her suit to pop. You move her moving the mouse. The only thing you have to do is move the mouse and avoid stars.

Screenshots:

There are also three gags spread throughout the game, related to her shape and size.

Here you can take a look at the gameplay with this Youtube video(better turn the volume down a bit): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBFF6WMz7qI

In the description in the Youtube video is a link to the game. If you want to go from here, here's the link: http://www.yoyogames.com/games/154164-space-balloon

The bandage health bar was a clever idea and I got a chuckle out of the sound effects.

Made it to the end, very well done on the game. Simple and cute.

I like the choices of the music in game. I recognize the first tune from Tetris on the NES and definitly like how Kraid's Music from Metroid suits the game as well. XP

I lol'd at the scene after the first level, with the Zarathustra music haha

You got it right! I downloaded them from www.vgmusic.com I thought the tetris one would be perceived as "a part of the nutcracker".

Darth Clone, thanks for the name of that one. Zarathustra. That tune popped in my mind when I was thinking in that gag, but had a hard time looking for it. I tried "classical music 1960's" but nothing(totally missed since is from the 1890's). Then I remembered it was famous for being featured in the beggining of a movie. I guessed it was "Odisea del espacio" from what I checked out the English name, I think it was "Space Odyssey"(maybe that's why I thought 1960's). Strange since I have never seen the movie. I got the midi looking for that name.
