Querying the Human Flesh Search Engine

Yes, another newb de-lurking and searching for a particular story.

Let me start by saying that I wouldn't be making this thread here if I hadn't searched my regular sources and the internet at large (with carefully worded phrases) already. In fact, I mean to register and ask before now, but when I last tried the registration system wasn't functioning. My problem lies with the facts that I can't remember anything except plot details from the story, and though the story is somewhat unusual for a BI (entirely by water), I've been unable to locate it.

The story is longer than the average short, but not by much. It starts with a POV of the head of a science research institute, woken by a phone call and told to come to the institute immediately. He arrives to discover the building gone and replaced with an equally massive (the building was several stories high) blob of pink flesh, with the head of his apologetic head research scientist lady.

Research lady cannot be uninflated, and is moved by a bunch of helicopters to another research institute, who study her predicament and manage to develop the same chemical she used to accidentally inflate herself. Inconveniently, she disappears overnight partway through the process, though they manage to finish.

This brings us to the protagonist, a young woman attending college and in need of cash. Seeing a want ad searching for human subjects posted by the company developing the chemical, she is lured in by the large cash offer and four units worth of science credits for a short (less than a few weeks) study. She arrives in the bathing suit specified by the ad, steps in the shower unit as requested by the researchers, gets sprayed with chemical and then with regular water, causing her to inflate a bit.

Scientists are excited, join her in the room to examine her, and get locked in by a spilled coffee. Then the process starts again, this time initiated by the coffee, and everyone in the room is inflated.

Cut to darkened warehouse, head researcher lady is watching events on tv, talks to man associated with government. End of story.

That's pretty much the entire plot there (with a few details left out).
