We have already thrown around some ideas for the theme of the next contest, which will be announced in late September. Stay tuned.

InflatorGuy43

Awesome! I'll definately try this out!

If there's any way I can scrape together the time and creative zeal to participate in this, I will. I'm in the midst of searching for a new job AND moving to a new place however, so my free time will be limited to say the least.

Ahh, this has started again? I totally forgot.

I will definitely attempt to produce a story in time. The themes you've outlined have a lot of potential..

gHassy

BTW, is there a limit to the amount of entries we can submit?

One story for each contest.

I have a draft. I doubt it will be the final draft.

You may be the only one so far.

Naw, I've got one, just polishing it before submission :) No reason to fire it off to soon, you know?

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith.

I'm working on a story. I'll see what I can cram into 1,000 words.

doubleintegral

I still need to finish mine. That is, assuming you'll allow the organizers of the contest to participate as well...

Just wanted to remind everyone that the deadline is just under two weeks away.

You guys aren't voting more than the rest of us, so I see no reason why not. As long as the angry mob is casting its vote, anybody should be able to submit. You guys just know who is who. :)

KorgFal

Um, maybe I'm just stupid....but I can't seem to view anyone's actual stories there. I'm logged in and everything. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? :| Thanks in advance!

dragon_6860

Don't think the stories are posted yet, I think they're gonna upload em all in one batch once the contest ends :)

Oooooh ok...

I'm almost finished with my story. Can anyone direct me to a reliable word counter?

Under MS Word or OpenOffice, open File -> Properties, and select the Statistics tab. Keep in mind this will include your title and byline, which I don't think count against your actual limit.

doubleintegral

Title, byline, etc. do not count against the limit.

All of the stories will be posted on the blog sometime Friday night (after the deadline) or Saturday. Voting instructions will be posted at that time as well.

Did everyone else get their story in? I know I did, although I still don't have confirmation that they received it. Where can we view the entries?

Inflate123

I got mine in, and I believe I got the word count correct. It was just at the edge in my version of MS Word, anyway.

I hope there are so many entries that it takes a few days for them to organize and post them all. :)

doubleintegral

Sorry for not sending confirmation. I did with some but overlooked it with others.

Anyhoo...

Voting is now open and all of the stories have been posted to the blog. Please see this link to read the stories and find out how to cast your vote.

I didn't win anything, but I did get three votes, including two for best in show, so I know at least someone enjoys my work. And the 1000-word limit was much easier to work with than the 500 limit from the first PtB.

Pakona

It was a pretty good contest. Truth be told, I had some doubts whether or not this was going to turn out well but we got a bunch of fine stories.

Don't get too comfortable. The word limit is not set in stone, and the 500-word limit might pay another visit at some point...

Thanks for the votes! I didn't expect to get anything, actually -- I thought my take on "theme park" was too liberal because it didn't take place, like, on a ride or something. But coming at it from a different angle felt right when I was writing it so I'm glad that worked for other people too.

Looking forward to PtB3...next month! Time flies, as do many of the lead characters in these stories.

LV, now I wonder what you were working on that didn't come together in time.

I too would love to see whatever he had. SvenSvenson was working on a story as well.

I don't think I could have told it properly in 1000 words - maybe twice that. Plus, busy-busy otherwise. The project is still in the works, though.

It was a silly little beach trip story that involved sorcery and inflation. It got derailed by real life concerns. I'm debating whether to finish it or just try again when the next PtB contest starts.

t-danger

I tied second for sexiest story! That's something I guess...

Admittedly, I rushed this story as I started close to the deadline. I'll have to start a bit earlier for the next one...

So, what did everyone think of the stories? Seems like there's not that much feedback as there was last time, but I'll start :)

Bad Beans: Good story, a bit dark for my tastes, but a good method of inflation, and the nice implication that Alicia has been floating before :-D

Balloon Race: Dark story no doubt! Very well written, but too dark for me.

Dollfun with Dolphins: It was ok, a bit to fast for me, seemed to go from normal to ball very quickly. I almost felt like this was chapter 2 in a longer story.

Floatation: Nice and sexy! Simple and to the point, always fun to float along with a balloon girl.

Freak: Hmm...not too bad, but I'm personally not that into male inflation, so I can't really comment on it.

Gone Tubing: Hehee, I always like accidental inflation, but I admit, I was a bit sad that she floated out to sea.

Happyland: My choice for best story, well done, great expansion scenes, and the ending of the girls all messaging him was very nice. Well done!

Impossibly Tight: Very sexy! Well written and some good descriptions of her growth.

Method Acting: This one was alright, but the Violet style inflation has been done fairly often. A interesting change on the soup tube though.

Sea Spheres: Good story, heh, I like the ending of the guy selling the inflated girls as huge beachballs.

Summer Job’s Benefit: This one was alright, but had some problems. The exclamation marks in the descriptions and the all caps in the dialogue kinda turned me off of it to be honest.

The Ride of Your Life: Well written, like the scenes with the girls wedged into the seats, hehe, I will say, I'd be running towards the girls, not out of the park!

And there ya go, just a little blurb on each, Enjoy!
