Last evening I tried to upload an artwork of mine on the site, but it told me the file size was too big.
I usually draw wuth Paint: what should I do? How can I reduce the file size? Should I quit using it? Thanks for all the answers.
I'm not familiar with Paint specifically, but I'm guessing it saves to BMP or some other uncompressed format by default. The gallery has a maximum file size of 2048 KB (2 MB). Try saving or exporting to JPEG, the most common image type.
Be sure not to overwrite your original work! If Paint has an export function, that shouldn't be a problem. Paint may have only Save or Save As, where Save As gives you the option to change the file name or type.
