I was wondering if it had happened only to me; anyway, have you ever got the chance to know a TV series or a comic/manga thanks to inflation artworks involving some of their characters?
Seeing images of inflated characters I discovered a whole new world.
Some example? Avatar the last airbender, Danny Phantom, Ben 10, Johnny Test, Total Drama Island, Brandy & Mr Whiskers, Phineas and Ferb, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends,Teen Titans, Neon Genesis Evangelion,Azumanga Daioh, The Slayers,Metroid,Sonic and many other I don't remeber now. I didn't know absolutely anything about them before.
The funny thing is that I know only the characters most commonly inflated, id est very few characters from each show.

I should also mention American Dad, Resident Evil, Dead or Alive and Street Fighters.

I discovered the anime Gurren Lagann because I kept seeing expanded pictures of Yoko and wondered who she was. Great series.
yep. its what got me into mainly Neon Genesis Evangelion and a bunch of others. :P
