Who practices body inflation?

Does anybody practice body inflation at home or in a club or group?

20 West Productions is looking for body inflators to film for a new series for a major cable network called My Strange Addiction. We are looking for interesting people that wouldn't mind having our cameras follow them around for a few days.

If you want to show the world your cool fetish and why you practice body inflation, please email casting@20west.tv!

Sorry, I don't.
I only like seeing it.

Folks, don't do it. You are asking to be made to look like a fool—let's be honest here, the reason these shows exist is for freak entertainment value—and you won't have a clue until it's actually been
broadcast.

Jesus, there literally is nowhere these soulless cable TV casting directors won't turn up looking for naive people to exploit.

completely agree with sim

Snickers

I also agree, lets take the incident from the Tyra banks show. There was a couple on there who were furry's and they got completely humiliated by the crowd and even Tyra banks herself also the couple got banned from most of the furry sites. So if you accept his offer your going to be very humiliated indeed.

Hi,

This is not a talk show...the show is called My Strange Addiction. You can watch the pilot episode online- it was about a girl who eats chalk and another girl who tans every day.

The show is more human interest than exploitation.

Get out of our forums! you are nothing but a spammer. Buh-bye now  Don't believe anyone would try this....oh wait it is the internet after all.

And the interest your audience will have is "look at these freaks".

Try your shtick somewhere else; there are plenty of naive people on the Internet willing to be exploited for pocket change. As you are apparently already aware.

I know it's television, but Christ would it kill them to pay some writers or something and actually create something?

rboland

We do pay writers, however, they need interview content from which to write a script. Every single thing you see on TV is written by somebody and stems from a creative process.

It interesting that only the members of your forum are attaching a negative connotation to "body inflators"

I am interested in understanding what "it is the Internet" means in context to this posting. That statement really does not make any sense, and if meant as an insult, I am almost positive it would be insulting the writer as well.

This is not a private forum, so maybe if you don't wanted a "spammer" on your site, you should find another way to conduct your conversations. For those of you who live in the USA, the First Amendment is truly a beautiful thing. For journalists, oh wait, and you!

Food for thought.

Please do not attempt to moderate the forums. It's not the place of any of the users here to determine who should and should not post. If you think somebody's a spammer, you can use the "Contact Us" link to the left and report any inappropriate behavior to me directly.

For the record, this doesn't qualify as spam. This isn't the first person from the media to inquire here about inflation. Remember that most people from the mainstream media who give body inflation any kind of coverage don't bother to seek input from anyone in the community. Keep that in mind and try to keep things civil.

As for whether the show is exploitative: Has anyone here actually watched it? If you have an informed opinion, please state it. Otherwise you're just slinging baseless insults. Again, let's keep things civil. If you're not interested in being on TV, then just move on to the next post.

Well said, Luther.

To give a partial answer to the original poster: I think the vast majority of people who are turned on by inflation or expansion end up just experiencing that interest as a fantasy, or via pretend-play with props like balloons or inflatable suits.

Very few people actually practice "real" body inflation of any type, for an obvious reason: IT IS DANGEROUS. If you don't know *exactly* what you're doing, you can cause or incur grave injuries. I think the urban legend about a woman *DYING* from an air embolism caused by her partner blowing air into her vagina has been passed around a few times on this and other forums (it's unclear if that one is true or not, but if so the person in question was not personally known to us). Putting your mouth on a gas tank or blower nozzle can fatally rupture your lungs, and similarly bad things can happen if the nozzle is put elsewhere. Breathing non-air gases can rapidly cause death by asphyxiation, in as little as one minute. And so on.

So, "practice"? "Real"? No, no thank you. The vast majority of us go to our classes or jobs, hang out with our friends for dinner or drinks or whatever, sleep soundly at night, and once in a while, check in here and at a few other internet sites, reading and writing fantasy stories and playing around with photoshop. Maybe we blow up some balloons under our clothes once in a while. That's about as far as it goes.

There are a few people, here and there, who take chances with their own bodies. Whenever the topic comes up, I always pray that nothing bad ever happens to them.

I'm personally very sorry and disappointed that you got some negative comments from others right off the bat. I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the reason for this is that most of us fear ridicule and embarrassment if our "interest" is made public. Several of our more prominent and creatively talented members have made sudden disappearances over the years, because someone in the real world -- a parent, spouse, partner, or friend -- connected the dots. For that reason, it will probably be very difficult to find a volunteer for your project.

I adopted an alias very early on, and will probably never stop using it. In a way, it's sad that we all hide behind a veil of anonymity, but that's the way it is and that's the way it will be for the foreseeable future.

I hope that's helpful.

Yes I know its not a talk show but I was saying that story to show what happens if a fetish hits the television.

rboland

I understand- but Tyra is a sensationalistic show that is looking for drama. Our show is serious and follows a set format. There is a big difference.

simballoon

Well, okay. I obviously have no power to make anyone do anything, but have fun learning a lesson the hard way that could have otherwise been avoided.

If you're in a community like this, I think it's in your best interest not to answer any media inquiries, period. They do not have your best interests at heart, they are looking to make money just like anyone else. What bothers me is that every time one of these guys turns up, they use emotionally manipulative language to lead people to believe their motivations are something less than what they are. They are not going to "let you tell your story", if that happens, it's incidental.

Maybe you'll go on this show and maybe you'll be satisfied with it, I don't know. But I think anyone who wants to should think long and hard about what the implications are if things don't go exactly like you imagine they will. Consider especially what you have to lose versus what this production company has to lose. They don't have a stake in what you're doing nearly as much as you do.

I think it's a risk not worth taking, frankly.

Another thing you have to realize is that we are on this forum BECAUSE we dont want to be known. we all have alias user names for that reason. I apologize for all of the hostility you are recieving but you must understand that many of us dont want to be found out. there might be some out there who would interview for you but probably not from this site. I would suggest youtube as your source for people. there are real inflationists on there who are bold enough to record themselves inflating and will probably be much more open to being interviewed since they obviously want to be known else they wouldnt have put videos exposing themselves up on one of the most commonly used websites of this time and age.

BenPanced

Kinda late to the party on this one.

Not sure if the program is still on, but I saw the chalk-eating/tanning episode in question.

Both women wound up going to producer-sponsored therapy.

Always looking to meet local guys for inflation sessions!
