I saw it last year at Chicago's Int Film Festival.
Keep in mind that since it's a Japanese film, it's not going to be about fulfilling fetishistic fantasies. It's meant to be an introspective piece.
The pensive air doll of the story is different from most stories where inanimate objects are given life. She seems moreso about observation, and has no agenda or longing to become human.
Much like the emptiness she feels inside, she notices such qualities in some humans around her, though she doesn't quite understand much in regards to emotions.
Probably the most interesting scene is where the lead actress is sitting on the floor naked, with a hand-pump with the nozzle attached to her navel. That scene only lasts less than 30 seconds though.
The only other scenes of interest involve her being deflated and reinflated. One being when she ends up cutting herself and deflates in front of a guy she knows. He tapes the cut and blows into her navel/nozzle, giving her a strange almost erotic sensation.
