I personally would like to be force-filled with hydrogen and then go by either 1) fuse 2) lit arrow or 3) various other means ;what are other people's preferences?

I've always been firmly within the over-inflation camp, with a distinct preference for non-gore. I suspect it has something to do with my early exposure to the fable "The Frog and the Ox", which I thoroughly blame for planting the seeds of my fetish at an early age. The idea of the subject inflating larger and larger, until the building pressure simply becomes too much for their skin to bear, and they burst asunder like a party balloon (again, in a non-gory, cartoony fashion), has always resonated very strongly with me.
Whether the subject is inflating themselves, or being inflated by another, is entirely flexible for me, though I do have a weakness for pride-fueled, competitive inflation.

For me there is no outbreak of inflation, I like to imagine those breasts or bellies swell more and more, the skin becomes more narrow, and the creaking Invino the outbreak. I ask all the designers and writers, to do more and more stories and drawings with the popping!

Probably surprise no one by saying overinflation. But specifically I'd like to go that way because then I could be as BIG as I could POSSIBLY get before the boom. That's not to say I wouldn't be poke-popped or squeeze-popped, etc. But I want to be all I can be! :-D

Well I'm liking reading this thread :)
I personally like to be on the giving end of a pop. My fantasy inflatee is female and is pumped up by one of a variety of methods depending on my whim at the time. I'm not averse to the idea of bringing about a premature boom by letting a pin gently brush her drum-tight skin, or if she's being pumped with something flammable, using a lit match; but I prefer her to explode through over-inflation.
For me, I think I like over-inflation because of the sense of building pressure, with each minute that passes, more and more gas is pumped into her, increasing the pressure within her and increasing her volume, but also making her eventual demise ever more catastrophic.
And the for the pop itself, no gore. Latex-like shreds of skin I can take or leave but what I most like are scraps of clothing, airborne jewellery, buckles etc. some clearing smoke, and the girl's smoking shoes left where she once stood.

Yeah, if I can't use hydrogen, air is fine, and I hate gory stuff. Shreds of clothing are all what's left in my RP's as well.
That said, I have used olive oil in some theme-based RP's..

popping/bursting/exploding is what i like to see the most. i like girls to be flammable or dangerous when they explode but im open to alternatives. sometimes i like it for women to inflate huge or sometimes i like them to explode without inflating at all, or anything in between.
one of my favorite fantasies is being in a confined space with a cool mannered and seductive woman whos body is a ticking time bomb.

Overinflation or not, we had a major relocation today - a piece of our department who did user interface (mostly visual work, mostly girls) moved to another wing. Also, in that wing a piece of another department who did the corporate portal of one of our customers (also mostly visual design, also almost all girls) moved to another building. And, alas, the visual work is done by some of the most beautiful girls, the clever ones tend to think less of how they look.
Many beautiful girls disappeared, mostly boys remain, the cleaner is dusting the floor.
Made me think.
